I do love it when a plan comes together, I really do.

Going to keep the dot and settle on the copper, I think; that allows for automatic connection as soon as borders pop.

That's a pretty juicy tile...seems like 1N of the initial location would be better if you don't have an immediate burning need for military.

I might have a burning need, given neighborhood, but the map concurs; shifting Bangor 1N gains clams and deer, so...

Well Hoe Lee Crap, this monster game got off the ground! Good luck Commodore.

Are you annoyed about the copper showing under Igloo? Or something else?

Mostly, how the copper is perfectly 100% pure backline. I hope everyone has their strategics as uselessly back, otherwise someone is going to be able to place their first city in a non-strategically-useless position, a big advantage on this map.

"Strategically useless" = "Safe Location?"

See chapter 20 in the book titled "Civ4 mapmakers: Damned Regardless."  I believe you helped write it.

It'll be eight turns to connect the copper rather than five, but as Plako ignored first-ring copper to plant forward at me, should be okay.[/url]

Well, plako's front city was pretty obvious. I'm going to note to my intense dismay that according to EP spending plako has met precisely nobody else.

Virgin is a prime spot, at least this border can be equitable. If Plako isn't in a corner. scared
