Yeah, sorry about that. It never even occurred to me that you might log in to play before I got up in the morning, since you almost never play in that timeslot. So I figured I was safe for doing all my turn stuff unrelated to that front, and then taking care of the DOW turn stuff while in chat with Mindy for discussing stuff. And we didn't even notice that you had played until partway through doing that.
So I guess the best thing to do is to have you play first before I go.

Looks like this game was down. I logged into the server to reload PB27 and saw an error for an instance of the pitboss application that had crashed. Turns out it was this game. The most recent save was Gavagai's login save from almost 3 hours ago so I've reloaded to that. Looks like DZ and Retep remain to end turn.

My guess is Gavagai started to log into this one using the wrong mod, thinking he was logging into PB27. Since he logged into PB27 2 minutes after he tried to log into this one. And that is what crashed this game, by him not having the correct mod loaded.

So I couldn't reply to this previously since I was just about to declare war and didn't want to spoil anything.
But now that there is another war as well, figured I may as well post what the turn splits are. Someone correct me if it's actually something other than this:
Turn rolls:
Commodore, Gavagai, & Ruff can play at any time
HitAnyKey plays after BOTH Commodore & Gavagai are done
retep plays after Commodore is done
Donovan plays after retep is done
So Commodore, retep, & Donovan are now in a 3-way split. So I guess it's a good thing we have this longer timer right now.

I try to be maximally prompt, and can do either evening or morning typically, so it's not too bad with the split.

thanks for the info.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

As an FYI, I'm going to be needing to finish my turn in the morning. So if everyone else plays overnight tonight (as is typical for retep & Donovan), it'll roll with me ending turn. And then Gavagai would be able to play in his normal slot tomorrow with you playing in the evening when you get home. Then the cycle will continue from there with me playing my part of the turn Friday morning. That shift should work for the turn cycles. But I guess we'll see how it goes.

So I apparently accidentally clicked Retire when I logged out after finishing my turn this morning. I logged back in with a slightly different username to check things. As far as I can tell, the AI didn't change anything. So I don't think we need a reload for me to redo the last couple things I did. Though if anyone logs in to any weird diplo windows (such as the AI asking for peace, etc) make sure you decline them.
Either that, or we should reload to my 10:47am login for me to redo that bit of stuff. Luckily it wasn't much and I can replicate it pretty quickly.
So if anyone can think of anything the AI might have done to screw me up that I can't think of right now (I checked all my cities and as far as I can tell it didn't change anything I had going), I suppose we're good to keep going.

If you'd already moved all units and set all production, should be fine; may want to check promos.

Well most units weren't moved, but they were either fortified, sentry'd, or spacebar-turn-ended....so as long as the AI wouldn't move those I'm ok. And I was pretty sure I didn't see any that seemed out of place. But yeah, I guess I should log back in to doublecheck a few of the units that had XP to make sure the AI didn't promote them.
