If I suspect Sareln then I don't suspect Jkaen because I can't see them being on the same side. That makes me happier too since I actually thought Jkaen was giving good vibes during Day 3.

To elaborate further on why I'm voting Sareln, it relates to why I'm not voting Mardoc. I tried rereading while actively giving Mardoc the benefit of the doubt, to "clear the bias", and after doing that he does indeed feel more innocent. And if I run with the assumption that he is, then Sareln looks bad for the way he's following me and Tasunke today. Also, I didn't like the easy way Sareln is waving away his name claim, without really giving it any thought. Sure, the scum get safe claims, but... Eddard Stark? The rules say we metagame at our own risk, but that's not to say that metagaming is completely useless. Also, looking at Mardoc's claim, he says he has "the ear of the King". That suits Eddard Stark perfectly, and is a pretty good flavor excuse for a double vote. So did Mardoc get an ability AND a safe claim that go together like peanut butter and jelly? I think it makes sense to at least consider that he may be telling the truth, but Sareln just hides behind the established "policy" that name claims should be disregarded.
If you know what I mean.

Well, that makes a whole hell of a lot of sense as to why Brick and Rowain were killed. Okay Lewwyn, no way am I going to vote for you now. Instead I guess it's my turn to do some following
@zak - yeah, I really get the same feeling about mardoc, which is why I was defending him before the storm. I hope he's done what I've asked all the same; you never know when you'll find something.
I can go along with Sareln or Tasunke. Jkaen feels townish, but I'm less convinced of him being town than I am Mardoc.

I greatly dislike that reasoning zak.
Sarelns disregard is understandable, not b/c of the own risk line, but b/c of the no-spoilers rule, imo having all the "good guys" as loyalists is greatly unfair for those of us that havent read.

ps lewwyn, you planning another push next 2 hours? need to know if i should stay awake to defend.

I can't recall who said it first (Rowain, possibly), but I also think at least one "good guy" will be scum and I know that at least one "bad guy" is innocent. I still think that a "good guy" is on average more likely to be innocent, though.
The no spoilers rule was included because someone requested it explicitly. It has nothing to do with fairness IMO. In a themed game, it is common that intimate knowledge of the theme can be potentially useful; nothing wrong with that.
Question to anyone who knows: Does Serdoa's character qualify as a somewhat "good guy"? I don't know him.

Depends on Sareln's response.

My problem with the claim is that there was no second kill last night, nor a third previously, which supports the idea that you as scum have been killing suspects of yours previously, so as to allow this claim. OTOH, though youve been pressured it hasnt happened on a day your suspect has died.
However im going to err on the side of caution.
Your JKaen push (im ignoring your bit on me, as theres nothing there thats new/i can respond to) i disagree with, though. It

For gods sake, stop non-voting, it's driving me nuts. If everyone nonvoted because they weren't 100% confident in a particular candidate the wolves would win every game. Put your neck on the line, put a case forward and vote for someone, or find a case you agree with, explain why you agree with it, and vote for them. Because right now, your indecision makes it extremely hard for me to even consider voting for anyone else.

I think it is safe to say that this is not a random distribution.
Jaime Lannister as scum, Gregor Clegane as SK, Varys as independent, Arya Stark as tracker, Jon Snow as commuter, Sansa Stark as innocent. Uber wasn't throwing darts at a character sheet here. Instead I think he threw in just a couple of twists and anti-meta roles, and gave the scum decent safe claims. Janos Slynt as a jailkeeper apparently also makes sense, according to the wiki, since he was the commander of the City Watch in King's Landing at one point. Whether he could be plausibly pitched as a good guy, I cannot say.
Anyway, to just completely disregard Mardoc's claim is taking the easy way out, IMO. We can still lynch him, but after the claim I would argue it should take a little more conviction to do so.
