I mostly wanted to trade him before the bye, where he put up very average numbers. And I was worried about him keeping up his numbers coming off the knee injury last year and with absolutely no QB play behind him, so people would stack 8-9 guys in the box.
Apparantly those fears were unfounded.

So I need Nicks to only get 4 or less points now.
Of all the weeks for Moore to go down.

(Tebow)
Yeah, wasn't it amazing how he has the ability to make Marion Barber run out of bounds and later fumble? Oh and Tebow kicked 58 and 51 yard field goals too.
(I'm going to hate myself in the morning for this post...)

Game winning field goals are always a two part thing. You can't say just Prater or just Tebow led to them.
A lot of second year QBs would choke in situations like down 3 or in OT.
More importantly: 236 yards through the air against the Bears D.
Again, potential.

I didn't even touch my roster this week. How sweet it is.

Seahawks D just needs 6 from a banged up StL squad. COme on Defense of the Week, don't fail me now.

You'll almost certainly get them. I looked at the Seahawks' defensive scores and thought I had a shot (call it 25-33%), but then I looked at the Rams' "vs-defense" scores and became sad.

You're grumpy these days T-Hawk, especially since this is a thread you're not at all involved in. Did Tebow make those kicks? No, no more than the kicker made the touchdown pass. And did some lucky breaks go Denver's way? Sure, but that's kind of the point. If Tebow just went 30-for-45 for 325 yards and 2 TDs each game it would be great, but it wouldn't be a real story considering he was a first round pick and some of them will just succeed at QB.
Look, even I expect Tebow to regress towards the mean here. I don't think he's going to win a Super Bowl nor do I think he will win all of the remaining regular season games. I just know he's come back from multiple two possession deficits late in the fourth quarter, he's won (read: he was on the winning team) 1/3 of his games via overtime, and he got an out-of-bounds run from a very experience veteran and then had that same RB give up the ball for only the third time in 1000+ carries, followed by the NFL record for long kicks in a game. Fine, it's all randomness. I just so happened to randomly hitch my support to Tebow. So...hooray.

What? You don't know about the Tebow vortex? The aura that makes the ball slippery for the opposing offense, that makes it fly farther on field goals and impairs the judgment of the opposition? Yeah, Tebow Vortex.

EDIT: Very funny...
Here's a crazy theory. What if balls fly further when people try harder and are more focused? What if the defense plays worse when they're rattled and nervous?
Can such a thing happen that isn't purely captured by one player's stats? Yep, it's called Home Field Advantage. It makes some players play better and others worse and it's statically significant over time. Another example might be coaching, though I think the numbers are less certain there.
Anyways, yes, it's probably true that no player can have such an influence, or at least that we could ever test for it given small sample sizes. It's certainly true that "clutchness" doesn't exist in the way that NFL commentators speak of it. But the narrative is convincing enough to me that I'm not categorically ruling out one particular player having such an impact just yet.
