RP Pitboss #2 [SPOILERS] - Darius I of the Holy Roman Empire

Interesting ...

So we now have 3 longbows ordered and we're on pace for Civil Service.

What were the chats about? :D

I checked the game.

Be sure to send the warrior near Krondor into Rolan to act as military garrison. I'm changing my mind about Krondor - I don't think we need to whip a longbowman right now.

And also, if we're going to convert to Confucianism and spread the religion, Rolan needs it (+1 happiness).

The warrior will go to Rolan.
I'm also against whipping Krondor at this point. When health becomes an issue we can always whip there.

Sethanon will start on missionary's now that the rathaus is finished.
Will spread it to Crydee/Krondor/Rolan first.

I talked with Whosit about settling Centralia, with Dantski about his game plans (not being eliminated) and with Plako about their status. Chats are in the gmail.

Wait are those chats and not actually emails? If so how do I view them? (Just curious on what they have to say.)

We can whip Krondor when health is an issue OR when we seem to be under attack.

What turn do you think we should convert to Confucianism? Are we on pace to finish any settlers/workers? If not then we should convert ... like next turn!

Chats have their own category in g-mail, just click on that, and you'll be able to read every chat assuming your settings are set to record them, which they should be. The default is to not store chats, but any game e-mail accounts should store chats for posting and teammate purposes.

There is indeed a chat-register. I'll make it a bit more visible! wink

We only have 2 cities with Confu, is it worth revolting now? Don't you revolt automatically when goign to OR?
Reply

No you do not get the religion when going to OR. I believe you have to already be in the religion to get the benefit. Time for a test game to confirm this, I believe.

Thanks about the gmail chat thing, I've checked em. :D

Right, adopting a state religion is independent of adopting a religion civic. They are independent, each takes a turn of anarchy, and operates on an independent 5 turn wait clock between changes. (Note that you can adopt a state religion before any religious civic is available, which does have an effect of +1 happy in each city with the religion.)

Org Rel, Theocracy, and Pacifism all give no benefits if you don't have a state religion and you have to adopt one separately, either before or after.

Quite turn. Rathaus in Sethanon is finished, going for missionary's now.
Some more worker actions and a bit of scouting.

The Island south is small, but worth claiming. We can have 2/3 decent cities there.

Do we need to adopt Confu now?

Unless you want to build missionaries without monasteries, prevent spread of religion because you're playing a wacky variant, or have no military so Pacifism saves you significant $ smile
