Well half our force is Spears, so probably won't be of much use, but I don't object to the idea.

We do have a road network to his southern city, worth a try. Also, he is founding another city to the east Will grab screens later.

We might want to be a bit more explicit (or ask a lurker to pop over to his thread) that we tried to accept but it broke, rather than we hit reject and then changed our minds. i.e. we're not trying to take advantage.

Yeah, it would be good if someone could help us with that.

The only way to survive, methinks, is to go Feudalism->Construction->HBR, mass build troops and try to make Grimace seem a less prickly target.

Agree with the first two; not as sure about HBR, but it's a good placeholder and faster than trying to get to Macemen or Pikes.

Feudalism is coming in, so I'm thinking of a round of LB almost everywhere plus swapping out of OR for 5t. We can build infrastructure when we fire the GA or when Elum find another target.

That's all right. I'm still somewhat surprise that we've managed to ward off an attack by Elum who has been significantly ahead in GNP, MFG, Crop Yield, and is up HBR, IW, Feudalism, Machinery, and four other non-military techs.

Whosit took 3 cities off Grimace (raze-capture-raze_ Grimace has Hwachas so it'll be an interesting fight. Let's hope Elum piles in.

Adrien's into Vassalage and HR, we swap into Vassalage and Paganism.
