Yeah, Adrien has it right. If you were allowed to change production after your opponent played everyone would want to play second in a war split.

Gavagai, as long as you are not planning anything against me for this turn that would constitute a double move feel free to log in and play. We can refigure turn order again next turn depending on the current happenings, etc. Or you can just wait since we do still have the long clock. You decide.
Hey all, quick question re: Civ4 install onto my Windows 8.1 laptop. Leaving on a jet plane in about 22 hours and want to make sure I can access both of my games if possible.
Anyway, I am getting compatibility issues but have not yet installed all 3 versions of the game yet. Do I need to install Vanilla > 1.74 > Warlords > 2.13 > BTS > 3.19? Or can I just go Vanilla > WL > BTS > 3.19? Having problem with the 1.74 link thru CivFanatics so I am hoping it's the latter. Sorry for the noob question but I haven't had to deal with install issues for, I dunno, 8 years maybe? Thanks!

Never mind, I think I may be good. Installing the mod now...
EDIT: Success!
So whatever I tested as fine before I left is failing now. Python error of some sort. I'll either need to request a pause until Friday evening, or see if there is a way to work with Adrien on the turns which I may not have time for since I am out of town.
I need to board my second red eye now, then managed to stay awake for another 14 hours after being up all night. Should be fun! Sorry for the hassle everyone. I'll check back in here tonite....
I've logged in to grab some screenshots (yesterday was spent doing stuff RL stuff, so didn't do much of anything with the turn) and since Donovan is going to need a pause for most of the week, I'll likely finish the turn tomorrow since I'm trying to figure out a few things and today I decided I needed to focus on work for once.
Gavagai if you want to play your turn, go ahead. I'm all done with anything I might have done on our front. It's just some other decisions I have left to do. Oh, and the game is paused right now. |
