Deal accepted. I prefer to keep things simple and NAP can be vague. The less lawyersim and clausules in the deal the better.

They have 19 in that picture. lol

I'm fine with the peace deal. Then hit TEAM or at least wring some concessions out of them.

We could clarify the NAP details with Gillette after a few turns, when the dust has settled. After all, it works both ways, so they'll probably agree to a more strict definition. But if we want to leave it vague I don't object strongly to that, either.

Old Harry didn't live up to his word. He didn't give furs or units this turn. Well hopefully that gets sorted out next turn. I'll postpone revolt to Bureau+Representation for 1 turn. We might need to Draft next turn to handle those Knights.

btw there are also 1 Knight in Ancient War and Shaistakoff. So all in all we see 21.

If Tasunke is going to attack he needs to notify us so we get first strike. If he attacks this turn he's broken that deal.
I have to run.

Maybe we should remind him about that. It was Lewwyn who originally signed the deal.

I doubt he knows or cares about that deal and I don't care that much either. We know his intentions and that is enough to me.

Well, I still feel bound by it, though.

I did send this to Tasunke to remind him - No idea if it makes him postpone attack for 1 Turn. That would be great for us. Lots of new units would be in range of the potential battle area. I won't blame him much, if he doesn't inform us though.

Quote:Seeing your Knight stack. I'll just remind you that we've this deal in place now (agreed with Lewwyn 28.12):

"No first strike: Whoever wants to declare war on the other has to give half a turn notice, allowing the other team to get the first strike. This would be in effect after our NAP ends. Given our close border such an arrangement would be a sensible way to reduce border tension."

i.e. if you intend to attack then you should warn us now and declare a war after we've played our next turn.

Tasunke's response:
Quote:Yes war now.

and little bit later this came:
Quote:28.12? I dunno what that is but this should be obvious. You've already extended the NaP 5 turns longer, now adding clauses that never came up ... well what is done is done, but I'm not going to sit here and argue legitimacy.

Without Lewwyn to back this up, adding something like this just seems pointless. You told me the deal at first, you cant just pull things out of thin air. Not that it will make much difference for my position now that you are at peace with Gillette >_<
