Turn 15
You know, the theme to my exploration is "move and find food"
yet again:
Another wet wheat!!
Horse was not where I predicted. If I want to share food with that city, I pretty much have share the deer, which is a tile I'd rather keep with the cap, since it's a 7 yield tile if I'm building a settler.
Demos aren't great, but also pretty meaningless, since GNP is so reflective of what you are researching (I am on mining)

So I am thinking that I don't need to settle for horses yet and, in fact, can wait on that until after I pop borders in the cap if I really want, which will allow me to farm the corn before I plant a city.
I should able to barb bust to handle warriors and get copper down fast enough to get axes/spears to handle barb archers. barb axes started showing up around turn 70 in PB52 and I'll easily have horses hooked up then, no matter what.
I'm thinking settling a shared site with sheep, then maybe shared with wheat and then setting for non-shared food (river wheat, probably)

Might lose the scout this turn. Ended up next to a bear. Scout got C1 because I was on autopromote by mistake.
More food, if you note.
2nd scout is done and about to go up by the sheep to see what is up there. More seafood?

So, I think a 2nd city site at the sheep can get 20 HPT for a settler at size 5, making it a nice 2nd settler pump. It can build warriors while it grows (maybe whip a worker on the way)
I'm going to have a ton of cities, so even if it just pumps out a few, it will help.

Turn 18.
Well, move and find food.
Fish and cow. I think the only health bonus I'm missing is pig now. Heck, I even have most the grocer bonuses. There's what looks like an island up north there, though it could be a cape, I guess.
Pretty sure that Yellow is where city #2 goes. It doesn't autoconnect, but it's a good hammer base for building navy (stone, 2 hills) and even has extra food for when I need the sheep back.
16 foodhammers for a workers, 21 for a settler. Nice site.
I'll start building it at size 3, once the warrior finishes. Or maybe I'll finish the warrior after the settler.
It does make mysticism important, I might switch to mysticism, in fact, to get the extra commerce. I won't need many monuments, but a 5-0-2 tile is important enough to pick up. I'll also need fishing, but that can wait till after masonry, I think. I think city #2 is really just a settler/worker pump, with workboats and probably an eventual galley. I don't think it's a place I'll build a wonder.
My scout pretty easily beat the bear (one hit) It will be heal up for a turn or two, then go north east. Scout #2 will go north and east to finish close scouting, then south to find a neighbor and then come back to barb bust.
I have to figure out if I'm going to put a city at red or not - it will not have food of it's own, so I might go purple first. 5-1-1 is probably my strongest tile outside of the cap right now.
nothing terribly interesting here.

I decided to change my micro plan. I had planned on pasturing and moving on, but I'm going to pasture and then road, which will hook yellow up, which gives me an extra 4 cpt, which is basically a 50% boost.
Also, I changed to mysticism. This delays mining by a little, but I can start building the monument right away, plus I get the extra commerce earlier. I'd ignore it if I didn't need it, but the fish tile is worth it (I said 5-0-2 above, but it's not coastal, so it's 5-0-1, which is still a good tile)
Cap will go settler->worker->warrior->settler, I think. I'll want a worker to clear out the forest by the wheat and also to road, plus doing so will delay the settler until I know where copper is and can make a decision based on not screwing myself over with that. I woudl like to share the capitol wheat, but there's no real site to do it that has it's own food for later, so such a site will be crap-ass in the long term. that's not a reason to not settle (I think I'll want something where red is, anyway, if only to build up cottages for HitchARide), but I have to think about it.

Mysticism no longer gives extra commerce in 1.5

At this point, it looks like yellow, then purple. Wet wheat is a very strong tile (it's on grass, not plains, which means it's 6-0-1, or the largest food tile I have) It also auto hooks up, so that's helpful, too.
Plan is cap goes warrior until size 3, then settler, finish off warrior, worker settler warrior. probably settler->worker after that, I'm not sure, depends on what my initial worker is doing at that point. Should have 2 cities by turn 30, 3 by 40

See, this is the problem with these rapidly changing mods. I ran into this in RtR, where each game was like learning everything new. Also, get off my damn lawn. Kids these days.
btw - it doesn't change my plans for mysticism to not give extra commerce - I am picking it up so I can get the fish online soonish. The only issue is that it kind of delays bronze working.
I am debating going settler->settler in the cap and placing purple fast. It's not great, cause I think I run an extra turn or so without improvements, but then, getting the city 4 or 5 turns earlier helps. that said, I will place that city without knowing where copper is or putting a city next to the horse if I go there. Could end up a problem.
