Getting some roads down to speed up work. First cottage is built!
Hinduism (if we get it, I really hope we will) is going to spawn in Zab, I believe.



Demos are okay. Funny to be #2 in GNP with half of the leader's number. Serdoa is Fin (fantastic on this map) and built the Stonehenge.

In the only city that had actually built a monument already Apparently it does not go to the newest city. That used to be a thing for sure.

Teching Sailing now for lighthouses. For next city, I'm actually going to plant it next to the other gold. Working gold early is just so good even if the city doesn't have much growth potential.

I also noticed that I can build a camp on the jungle. I did not remember that was a thing. That is fantastic news, no IW required to hook up the happy phants.

Charriu did a curious civplayer segment on religion spawning. There is basically a chance for any city not capital that doesn't have a religion. Later in the game this can often then mean it is a newer city as those don't have religions yet.

Early like this it is generally determined by order settled and pop size. The largest chance would have been Il Trovatore, but any of them would have had some %.

We got lucky then, that would have been the worst destination. Any city with some production is preferable, for missionary building.
