Everything is coming together rather nicely. Borders will pop in border city the turn i want to attack, all the HA's will arrive and be in position to move the turn i attack... ALL i have to do is wait on t105 for Joshy to play before me so that he cannot whip the cities in response. Well, whip and get another defender in them anyway.
MAIN THEATER OF WAR
3 galleys with axe/chariot each in them will advance. Depending on what the border pop sees, i will either land all the chariots on the hill NW of the "all galleys move here" sign, or 2 galleys will head SW and 1 galley will use its chariot to hopefully pop the axe sitting in that border city. If the border city falls on t2 of the war, i will have workers following the HA's to road the tile before that border city so my HA's can hopefully overrun his defenses without giving him too much time to whip spears everywhere. Considering his lack of archers, and Axes/EMPTY CITIES everywhere... i expect it to be mostly easy to grab a chunk off of him. It will still probably be a slog if i cant cut off copper, or he gets sent some which is pretty likely.
2ND THEATER OF WAR
1 galley, 2 chariots. i land them both NW of the empty CornCity. If all goes as planned and he doesnt have a roaming axe/spear.. ill have 1 razed, and 1 captured city. Wineisland will just sit there till the end of time until i can to land 3-4axes and burn it. Other than the capital and my production city in the south, the rest of my cities will be just working on either infrastructure, or....
Northern Frontier
Defending against any possible attack on my border city with Tarkeel. Axe/spear/spear/archer will be in place before i declare on Joshy, and he does have 2 WC's standing by where ive marked. My lone Quecha will patrol the border and hopefully prevent any sneak attack.
What could go wrong: Joshy could get insanely lucky combat rounds, and i lose every Chariot v Axe fight, and he for some reason has nothing but spears in his other cities. Tarkeel invades via sea and razes/captures my vital island cities.
What WILL go right (please): I will capture or raze 4 cities on t2 of the war. I will have a monster 4th? Largest standing army invading someone that has missed a couple turns, and may have been lull'd into a false sense of security by my various fish/fish and "i will attack Tarkeel if you attack TBS" style deals ive been sending.
What will probably happen: I will raze or capture 2 cities, and 2 axes will defy odds and win their chariot fights. My stack of HA's runs into a stack of 10 spears that he has been holding onto for an invasion of TBS.
