Based on the size of the player pool, I'm thinking 2 Masons + 3 Wolves + 1 Voidwolf will be the numbers. I'm torn on whether to have 4 or 5 Wolves total and would love to have some input on it.

Count me in. Role? Uh... Gunsmith? smile No, too modern. How about Bowyer & Fletcher?

23 people with only 4 'Wolves (including a Voidwolf) maybe be a little too easy, I think? Just my opinion, based on virtually no experience whatsoever. I'd be OK with 4 Werewolves + 1 Voidwolf with up to about 25 people, should anyone else want to join last-minute (like me).

5 total? 4 out of 23 seems too few, it's not that easy being a wolf.

Farmhand, huh? How... Down to earth.

I don't know how to balance these games, but from what I've seen RBers are very good at catching wolves. So crank up the difficulty. Remember, a wolf win is a perfectly legitimate outcome.
I have to run.

I would go with 4 wolves or if not that 5 wolfs and 3 masons. Its broder-line and I think more will join like Roland. That would push it over the broader.

I really would go with 4 wolfs. The seer is not too strong and the lack of PMs really would hurt the village.

I would prefer no masons, or masons who cannot talk privately. I am also concerned it could take too long for the wolves to find the seer. I don't want everything to be decided by scries.

4 wolves is too little...

I'd like that Masons couldn't talk via PM's

Why the fuss about the Masons? It's not like they can talk to anyone else outside the game, yes? Or am I wrong? I say let the Masons have their PMs. No harm in it - no way to expand their bloc except in public.

Masons can only talk to each other via PM. And yes, I'm not worried about the Masons, their bloc only expands through talking with Villagers in public. I imagine it will just be two folks being able to bounce thoughts off of each other before going public with them.

Wolf-Count up'd to 6 total with Novice's encouragement. If we get a 24th, that would make for an even 25%. I think I'm okay with that.

Don't forget that in this game there are No Pm's no gchat or any outside communication for the villagers. Everything has to be said in publically.

5 wolves out of 23 allow for 6 wrong lynches which I think should be ok.
