I could load the save and retake the images, if you want. But I dunno how to make them go away and I don't like playing full screen.

Well, you could use the alternative alt+print screen method and then paste them into paint after each copy. That takes longer for most people.

I did that before, but it doesn't take full screen pictures.

I just push print screen and take the shot from screenshots folder. Works both in windowed and full view.

Someone settled above food and I think it is a bit better because of AH usually isn't very high in priority order, but settling in place is ok too.

This is not very important, but you could have moved adept summon puppet move it and then cast floating eye to get more tiles visible. You might be able to postpone BW since you've blaze. However keeping adept home and summoning puppets and keeping the city inspired is probably best at this point.

Inspiration definately seems the way to go early on, it's an awesome boost.

Didn't think of settling on the pigs...not sure it's a big deal either way.

Your tech plan seems solid. I am reasonably sure that barbs don't spawn in the first 20 turns (someone else please confirm or deny this), so you may be able to move your adept in a circle two tiles out from your city to cover some ground with Floating Eye. Like so:

6-7-8-9-10
5-x-x-x-11
4-x-C-x-12
3-1-x-15-13
2-x-x-x-14

Where C is the city and the numbers signify the order of your moves. This way you get some more mileage out of Metamagic 1 and can get full fortify bonus before barbs spawn. At the very least, going two tiles SW and back should help us find out if we have more floodplains nearby.

I'm honestly not sure how much I like that plan. I think it might be better to keep the Adept in the city for Inspiration, since it's 2 research represents about 1/5th of our entire research early on.

Oh, I'd forgotten about that :facepalm:. Yeah, the research will probably do more of a difference than the scouting will. Nevermind then.
