Okay. I was trying to be vague enough to not reveal anything, but I can see how that could grow to be an issue, especially if that sorta stuff has happened before. My bad, I'll be more close-lipped now.

I have generally abhorred being wrong in these games.... and i;ve been wrong a lot. If I've gotten a read on someone that I think is legitimate and I dont buy the cases against the 2 candidates - I'm not necessarily going to jump on one. But... I am starting to see the flaw in this line of thinking. Between wolves, late-to-the-party villagers, and jittery villagers, too much action happens late and its easier for the wolves to manipulate the wagons. yesterday exemplified this - at 7-7-6, - they wolves can pick who they want and when and fade in among the rest of us trying to make a difference.

I am not sure where this post is going or why I am typing it -- but I'm going to be better about voting for someone actually likely to lynch. If I want to lynch my actual target, I supposed I need to work on my case building and cat herding skills.

And at least the village got some solid information to build on. I'm guessing Serdoa was the target (the writeup seems to confirm it, too). I doubt they would have been so eager to kill Bigger, given the whole thing about thestick not voting for him.

Welcome Serdoa and Bigger. Makes alot more sense now.

I think it most likely that the wolves targeted Serdoa and got Bigger for free. So why would they do that? My first thought is to prevent a run on one of day 2's other primary lynch candidates by showing that Serdoa was just a villager...

Also, clarification here too, Serdoa was targeted, which led to Bigger dying also.

I'll double down and say Pindicator.

Serdoa of course too.

But the first step is to lynch or vigshot Serdoa.

If Serdoa is a wolf then you lynch both of Pindicator and Ichabod.

If Serdoa is innocent, consider for a bit and then lynch Catwalk.

I really wish someone else had thought Serdoa was guilty too. In hindsight, I wish after day 2 results I had made a fake ngiht vote for Serdoa to make him look guilty - I really felt the only way we would die is if Serdoa was night killed - I was never going to be night killed, and I knew we could avoid a lynch. Started to really fear it during the night - Serdoa was just too "obvious village" that it had to be either him or novice, and I might have scrwed that up too by attacking novice too much.

Serdoa needs to explain why he thought you were more likely to be scum than Pindicator. (First, someone needs actually to ask him, though. ) If he gives a satisfactory explanation to that, there is no particular reason to pursue him for his last minute vote, IMO. (Unless/until Pindicator flips scum, obviously.)

I think he was highly influenced by me in the mason thread. we seemed to have similar suspects, and sareln was my #2 behind uberfish. I missed the last 8 hours of day 2, unfortunately, but I wasn't really convinced by sareln's defense. It was mostly just an intuition thing - pindicator feels innocent to me, uberfish feels really really guilty, and sareln is just hard to get a good read on because of the lurking. I know he came out of his shell on day 2, but lets face it, if he wasn't under the gun he probably wouldn't have posted much day 2 either, so I didn't buy it either .

I think if I hadn't missed the last part of day 2 I would have preferred sareln over pindicator or ichabod, but probably would have put up a better case against uberfish, who I wanted most.
