I'm having the exact same issue right now.
Sorry, guys, I think, it was me who was responsible. I wanted to log in to make some amends, changed my mind about this midway, after I already was in the screen where you choose your civ. At this point something distracted me and I have utterly forgotten that I'm sitting in the game's doorway. I think it caused your issue.
Anyway, I logged out and everything should be fine now.

Can't connect to peer Gavagai.
If you see this, please DC when you can. I don't know if I'll be able to take my turn later today. I'm heading out at about 12:00pm EST and I will be gone all day.

Something to do with that score increase during your login?
I don't have a problem with a reload, just try not to let it happen again. Will a reload to your last login save work, mackoti?

In case anyone's wondering, we don't have any rules about reloads in this game. The only relevant rule is that we're trying to have fun. I think that, given it doesn't require anyone else to replay their turn and that it looks like a major issue for Mackoti, this is a clearcut case to reload. Please go ahead with the reload, Caledorn.
I think as a community we have developed a fairly good sense of what is reasonable to reload: If you're forcing someone to replay a late game turn you'd better have an incredibly good reason, and turns with heavy warring may be right out. But something like this, where the only inconvenience is waiting for the reload, and the benefit is to undo a really major misclick in proportion to empire size, is fine.
Anyone can feel free to argue otherwise.
Btw Mackoti and anyone else requesting reloads in the future, it may speed up the process if you take a screenshot and describe the problem in your thread.

Nevermind the previous post (the one I wrote before this one that is, not Seven's ).
The timing on the autosave and the forum post were off, so I thought mackoti had logged in twice. Reloading once more from mackoti's autosave this time.
Edit: Done. Go ahead and play
As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master. - Commissioner Pravin Lal, "U.N. Declaration of Rights"

Lol, being half asleep in the morning clicked on a lurker thread here, thinking that this is PB18 lurker thread. I've been starring at the screen for a few seconds and learnt that they are talking about workboats and fishing. That's the spoiler knowledge I want to make public.

I'm away for an indeterminate amount of time this weekend (latest I'll be back is sunday afternoon/evening). If necessary, would any lurkers be able to shuffle a few units/builds around. I'll post exact instructions in my thread.
