[SPOILERS] Realms Beyond's Pitboss 29th Spectacular Lurker Thread

Deleted my message in Joey's thread because I should have known better than trying to help.

I think the second sentence in your post, about how you were only commenting in his thread because he was getting his just deserts or whatever, is what set him off. It made the rest look like some perverse form of mockery.

Anyway,

Haram Wrote:So, the rough plan is to:
1. Defend. It will be a challange.
2. Build army all the time, cause I need it either way if I want more land.
3. Wait until Joey's rage burns out (or at least it becomes less intensive, than frustration).
4. Seal 10-turn peace.
5. Conquer Dreylin.

I totally understand Haram's thirst for vengeance here, but this is an appallingly terrible strategy for a war, one which he began and refuses to end. Like, when your plans for your war of aggression are "try to not get my ass handed to me and then wait for the hyperemotional aggressive fatalist to forgive me", perhaps you should reconsider them.

Yeah, it was supposed to let him know I wouldn't be reading his reply, but pretty badly worded.

Looks like is not just me having problems with Joey, he wants everithing, everytime goes his way.

About the game i think he realy played bad when atacked haram , to try to stop him from GM instead to focus on his development get rifles and stomp one of the easier neighbours for more land and after that he rambles why Haram came at him and tries to do everithing as he wanted.

If i was Haram i would invested everithing in destroying joey and not carring about the other stuff, becasue you know Joey suffers becasue of that .

In all seriousness, Trigger Joe has to be the most entertaining character to ever grace our forums.

Yay! Toot

(although I would completely accept removal of the award based on my PB32 effort ... which you can't look at! neenerneener )

I only have 2 nitpicks.

1. Happiness resources shouldn't be mirrored. We should have similar quantities but more duplicates to encourage trading. This would also result in a slight decrease in general available happy sources, which I think is a positive.

2. The land borders should not be so easily defined. As it is there is not really any reason for player interaction for some time. But hey, Jowy was kind enough to fix this issue for me. lol

I'd like to add one to this list:

3. placement of Iron was too one-sided. It was a fine distance from the capital, but it was far too close to one fixed border than it was to the other. If I'd been attacked from the Tsargon side, I'd have had Iron through the whole war; as is I lost it 5t in and couldn't produce meaningful units anymore. Actually, with Copper in the same direction, I had no metals at all.
