I hope this doesn't ruin any future friendship but I declared war on you. I pledge not to attack unless attacked. I just heard through the grapevine that your city state declared on Japan and wanted their location. You may find this mutually beneficial when you next play. Also, knowing you just where in a war with Japan, I will have an extra salt when we can sign peace that I will let you have for 30 turns to make up for any residual war wariness.
