Hi, I just joined Realms Beyond after seeing the post in GeneralKilCavalry's discord.
I want to join, and I am completely new to pitboss. I'm not new to civ4 though, and I've done some online multiplayer with friends.

I'm not sure it was ever specified either way, although I assumed pitboss from the beginning. Anything beyond 5 players is usually a pitboss.

Yeah at 7+ players I’d insist on pitboss, pbem pace would be a turn every 2-3 days at that point and that sounds awful.

Sounds like we just need to decide when to close signups, so our mapmaker can get to work and adjust the picking system point assignments if needed.

I'll leave it up to you Jowy. You've probably forgotten more than most of us know but base BTS games don't happen that often. Would definitely not consider you green though if you did want to play. That being said if your going to lurk you could think about dedlurking someone. We still need quite a few of those as well.

Id love to have a large game, so long as IMO, the map is balanced for everyone to have a shot of winning from t0. Dont want double river corn vs dry rice style crap. Other than that, ALL HAIL THE MAPMAKER
