I have this as a micro option:
Turn 6: Finish WB, Finish Agri, start Scout or Warrior, start BW. Work Boat makes fishing nets, work the fish tile for 5fpt.
Upon growth on turn 11, work PH forest to finish warrior/scout on the next turn.
Start worker 8 turns, switch to working the corn for the extra commerce.
Turn 20, worker pops, start farm.
Start on another warrior.
(Yes, we need protection and fogbusting, the micro ddooes pay off imho...)
On growth on turn 23, switch to plains hill. we are pop 3, working corn, fish, ph.
Turn 24: Start Settler since warrior is complete, farm is complete.
Turn 25: Move worker to chop 1S.
Once chop is done, start mine.
Turn 31 settler complete, start on another
Once mine is done, chop the forest 1NE of capitol.
Turn 37 - settler complete, start worker, move worker 1S
Turn 41, Worker complete
By turn 41, we should have 3 cities planted, 2 workers, 1 scout, and 2 warriors.
I think this is ok.
I did not adopt slavery in this micro plan, which is important to consider.
Mining hill can be eschewed in favor of starting chopping earlier.
I am not sure this is effective.
Tech path:
Agri -> BW -> Wheel -> Pottery -> Hunting -> AH -> IW?
This is a turn 52-55 IW, not too great.
I am not sure this micro is that good either, but it is something.
Chopping second worker can be eschewed in favor of sending first worker to the pig - the chop saves only 1 turn anyhow.

Wait, is that dotmap supposed to be some kind of belated april fool's joke?

Do you have a better dotmap for the area? ALSO we met RUFF this turn. He came from the east, so that must connect somewhere.

How would you dotmap this?
IMO, unless simmed out or /ect.. I like the city to the west as the 2nd city out of our available options. steal corn from the capital, grow, maybe chop barracks for culture with capital throwing a workboat for the crabs, worker can get those pigs up and running in time for the 3rd city on the stone to steal them?
City to the southeast is mostly filler unless some seafood of its own shows up to the east.

Im really wanting to push for this area. Cottage/cottage/cottage up. Maybe there is room for two cities with each having a food resource in the fog?
Curious how you would dotmap

Givens:
1. We're stuck at the edge of the map away from the jungle and I believe we will get denied many luxury resources.
2. Despite maintenance reducing traits, the maintenance reduction is miniscule
3. Space is limited, and we do not yet know where copper/iron are.
Conclusions:
1. Tight and cramped city placement
2. We must get DECENT cities fast, rather than great cities later.
3. Dotmap can only really be made with BW.
However, since you ask...
Our first city needs to immediately work the pig, and the second to immediately grab a source of copper, the third a source of iron if the second does not.
In a similar fashion, move the crab city 1S - this does mean more crap sea tiles.
So, in short:
1E of pig.
1N of crab
2W of pig for border patrol + oasis+PH+deer city is tolerable
2E of the south incense to get a taste of floodplains
1SE of deer
But most importantly, we must immediately scout towards ruff and get a good look at those lands.
Edit with another thought:
So you mention
" IMO, unless simmed out or /ect.. I like the city to the west as the 2nd city out of our available options. steal corn from the capital, grow, maybe chop barracks for culture with capital throwing a workboat for the crabs, worker can get those pigs up and running in time for the 3rd city on the stone to steal them?"
I find this still too slow and not effective if we are going to be whipping praets like mad.
ALSO those seafood resources in the north will not be ours unless we take out presumably ruff or whoever else is up there, so no point in contesting them for culture against someone with a MONUMENT UB
Edit 3:
Also, wasn't trying to insult you in my previous post, I simply had been simming VERY different city plans today. I was counting on a city right next to pig so the pasture could be built immediately for quick growth with 2nd worker off to work on 3rd city.

I can see your points. Where should the scout move next? East to see if Ruff is that way?
