Finally decided to atack.

I maybe used too many cats, but i didnt want to risk. lost 5 cats and probably 8 damaged units on a hill. He lost a cat and 2 GG units plus several praets. Not really worth trade, but since we are losing better to damage him a bit more. I think im retreating from the city next turn or in 2 turns, hopefully we can stand on the capitol for some time.

Noble is really kind and gave us horses, iron and luxuries so we are making use of them

We beated a cat from mjmd but all units died, not really worth in terms of hammers. Not sure if it was the correct option. 

Now he is bringing more and we have to leave that city too. Also amica bombarded all the defence on the island and he is about to kill that city too. I simmed and we cannot atack him. whiped the city and getting 2 archers in 2 turns. Lets see if thats enough. Not surely. Mjmd also brings more units towards the capitol, but he is completely unable to do anything with what he has. The problem is we cannot counter atack with that huge stack of archers. I might need to start building axes again. 30h into the capitol + the OF of the whip means we have 75h in the capitol, i thougt to get a cat plus an archer, but maybe its better to make more axes? not sure, i decided to go cat and then slow build an axe. If he go to the ivory then i ll hit him with cats.

                   

Also someone did get the colossus, i guess it waqs noble since his score raised the most. I would love people to concede before dieing. But it seems unlikely. Also lazteuq is defending form the dogpile good too, since nor gira nor noble got more gains in 2 or 3 turns. Also cairo in the island is going to be hard for civac, i think we are leaving before them.

If we had those 8 axes we could last one more turn now, but we cannot so i retreated.

Amica fuked us so ahrd making bloqueade. We are unhappy and lacking gold. Our troops are going to disband so quick. Maybe next turn ill ask for some gold to noble to last a bit more. But it seems unlikely he gives us since we are done already. Im sad cairo survided longer. If it werent for amica and his trirremes we could still be there but... it is what it is.

   

I have not much time to sim if we could hit him on the ivory, next turn he will go to the forest where he will be much more annoying, but at least we have our happy back. Then i ll have to simm if i got enought to kill that stack. I might have but then his other stack will be unbeatable, not sure what ill do. I cant stay fortify there since we wouldnt have gold enough to feed our troops so probably ill atack and lose a ton of units, but i really have no other choice.

Now I have turned in my paper =) I'm not very good at written assignments, it always takes me way too much time to write them.

Looks like the combined offensive of both enemies is finally taking us down. On the bright side I'm looking forward to reading the other threads and doing some post-game analysis soon.

If costs are this high then losing some units attacking out is preferable to losing them to strike. Remember we will lose support for free units after Pome falls which will hurt even more. Taking out the ivory stack is our best bet I would say.

Civac should really get a move on and take Cairo out =)

Yeah they took us so good, if amica would have go vs mjmd in the capitol or vs pome we would have a chance but they splited us so well, i think it was diplo way. so well done by them. 

Im not sure if ill be able to writte any further thought than what i have already said. But i guess that after this is done maybe i come to some mistakes and something more idk.

I dnt think he will be able to take him faster than mjmd and amica take us

Turn 135

Not much done on turn 134, whiped a cat. And now 2 cats atacked aa little stack of mjmd and killed it, at the cost of the last 2 cats we had, but his stacks are above 20 units so we couldnt really dmg that without 5-6 cats at least adn he will capture us before that, we killed a catapult which could mean 1 turn delayed the atack, but if we last till turn 139 it would be awesome, i dont think we could.

   

Noble is giving us silver too, he is really trying us to delay them and thats what we are doing. Mjmd destroyed the copper mine of ex-lingonberry we still have the one of Blueberry online and noble gave us iron so really he wasted moves there, maybe he needed 2-5 gold? idk.

Civac won 18points on his turn, which i think it only can be a bulb? Im not sure, an artist born so i guess it was civac's, he has already done 2 bulbs then? i thought that was unefficient. He is on GA, i didnt say some turns ago. Then we see taoism has been found, so i think he bulbed filosophy? Maybe civac is trying to get liberalism faster than noble and then try to eat mjmd or gira to be able to face Noble?. It could make sense, they are kind of oposite in the map acording with my sugestions so really Noble has not a clear way to stop civac, so if civac makes to get somehow able to hit Noble it would be a chance of slowing Noble on the wining? Im not sure if thats possible, according to demos/graphs noble is ages far.

Noble is atacking Gira and Gira peaced Lazteuq. Not sure how warm is that war. But with his spikes of gold, noble has to be really close to knights if he has not yet. And if he has already he is going to swip gira or lazteuq or amica or whoever he wants to kill

Turn 137

It seems my prediction was accurate, im not sure if he will have enough on turn 139 but if he has not on turn 140 im out for sure.

Right now we have 28 defenders at 22% defensive bonnus and he has 23 atackers plus 6 cats. He has 4-5 units more and a cat, that will arrive this turn when he plays after us. I think he can take down the defense on turn 138 since i think he can just take down 2 or 3% per cat right (he has no promo on cats)? (i have walls)
So he could atack on turn 139 killing all or almost all units, but we still have more units than him so we should survive until turn 140.

noble gave us 20 gold and we are losing 4 per turn. I will give him all my gold on turn 140 to say thanks for all the help. It has been the only one helping us but gira with the silk. So some apreciation will be nice. I really think he has to win this game, he did just perfect, almost all wonders but mids that were of civac (he is PHI so it makes sense to get representation while you are using specialists)

A Gperson borned this turn, i guess its from noble since the last was from civac, both are on GA so their Gperson growth is boosted. But i gues it makes sense to be for Noble.

Somehow i messed up again counting up, and he had 30 units and i had 29 ont his turn. I fought with a C4Shock HA 70% odds into a praet with some cats on the stack hoping he would flank some dmg on the cats but it lost. Fuck my luck again xD. I guess it was a domb move, but i think that was a good option, right now we are 30-28 and he has 8 cats, no defense bonnus. I really thought it would be slowed the bombard but its seems its full strength taking 4% each cat. He can pretty much clear my stack on this turn, probably some units will still survive and next turn he will clear things up.

So i cant survive of turn 139 as i said some turns ago, just messed up thinking i would last 1 more turn.

I really hope he gets bad rolls for once.

Catapults do 8%. Walls halve that to 4%.

Horse archers are much better on offense than on defense so attacking out when you have odds can make sense. You need quite a lot of them to koll his catapults with flanking though.

Oh i see i was remembering it bad. I thought it was 4% and walls halfing it to 2% but i guess its that with castle.

It was a little stack of 4 praets 2 cats, so i thought flanking could happen.

Anyway im sure he atacked and we lost almost all units surely. And next turn he will just destroy us. So we survived till turn 139 which is decent after 40 turns of war and the dogpile of the second economy. Im proud of our game.

Thanks chumchu for all the help you gave me. And how you cheered me up when i was about to throw the towel when mjmd and ruff declared war.
