(Replace Ichabod with arbitrary player X above, and I'd still make the same comment.)
Nah. My feelings on Mardoc are strong than on Ichabod's. I haven't gone through all of Ichabod's posts or anything. I think he's plain old innocent, not multi-flavored explosion innocent like Mardoc.

I'm still interested in hearing more specifically how your ability worked.

Indeed, the sort of control taking that you seem to be attempting looks pretty suspicious. How am I taking control, and how is it suspicious? I have respond at length about serious accusations made against me and poke holes in them. I've brought forth a suspicion against Lewwyn that I find credible, based on these two leads:
1) He says there is no doubt in his mind that Mardoc is innocent, then goes back on that later. And I see in his post just now that he's inching closer to his original position of having a strong read on Mardoc.
2) He makes a top 4 list of his suspects, then proceeds to first vote Cyneheard followed by me. Neither of us were on his list.
How is any of this taking control? To me, responding to accusations and bringing forth substantiated accusations is simply being pro-town.
Quote:I fully admit, I've probably gotten myself into the stage where I've convinced myself that you are a wolf to a greater extent than the evidence admits. But to me the way you're trying to boss people around looks like a pretty clumsy attempt to push votes where you want them. Attempting to cast suspicion on people for not voting.. but discussing suspicions.. in a game where discussing suspicions is the game? That looked like an attempt to manufacture conflict.
Again, who am I bossing? And where did I cast suspicion on someone for not voting? I didn't see it in a quick read-through of my posts.
Quote:I mentioned that I wasn't sure where you were going. I was considering whether you were attempting to generate a reaction to gauge players, or if you were just trying to manufacture controversy for the sake of controversy, and maybe get some bandwagons going too. Given your further actions, I think you're trying to manufacture controversy. Which is very very wolfish.
This translates to "I don't agree with your suspicions, hence you must be a wolf" :neenernee

I laugh at your twisting. You realize that I was pretty drunk when I threw up those four suspects and I can't even remember who they were now?
Still. If you were a wolf you would know that I'm innocent and therefore not actively pursue me as you are since you'd probably be lynched for lynching me... Not sure if that clears you.

I've missed you Lewwyn, I thought you'd forgotten about me completely :neenernee
Calling you out on making a top list of suspects and then going after two other suspects is not twisting, it's building a case. I notice that you conveniently fail to address my other suspicions. Specifically:
1) "I shall set out on a quest to determine for perpetuity if Mardoc is a wolf or not. I shall apply the most excellent scientific measures in this endavour"
2) "There is no longer any doubt in my mind that Mardoc is innocent"
3) "Nono, I just said that I'm leaning innocent on Mardoc"
4) "Nonono, Mardoc is multi-flavoured explosion innocent"
You may just have put your foot in your mouth with this, but you have to admit it looks pretty funny. This isn't a crusade btw, I just think you're the strongest suspect at this time. I find zakalwe's case against Ichabod to be interesting too, I think his assertion that Ichabod contradicted himself to be correct.

That sounds rather wolfish doesn't it? I just wonder if this is your way of saying stay off of me or you die or if you are trying to bait a wolf into voting for you because 'thats a thing a wolf wouldn't do'

Dunno, I was just thinking out loud.
TBH a lot of my competitive fire is still wiped out. I'm not sure if I care if I end up lynched. I'm pretty badly burned from FFH14 and I'm having trouble finding motivation to care about this or my other civ games.

Honestly? I'm just going to ignore you from here out because I'm going to regret what I say if I read anything else you post, and I don't regret what I say easily. I simply cannot describe the depth of my hatred for you. I do not have enough words and I'd rather not offend more people here.

you too Lewwyn. I'll just go ahead and assume that you're stalling for time and playing the "anything Catwalk says in this life and the next 10 or so is wrong" card. I think your comments about Mardoc are all over the place.

So I wasn't around much yesterday, went to the pub for a pint after uni (which turned into six). I wanted to address my vote, the argument for Rowain appears to have gained more traction (or at least more votes). I can't entirely see why, although I only skimmed the thread. Most arguments appear to have been based on 'feelings' from the players involved.
My own reasoning for placing the vote was to do with Rowains weird voting at the end of day 1. Coupled to finding his aggressiveness and immediate accusations towards anyone who accused him suspicious.
I buy Rowains explanation for the strange voting pattern, and he no longer appears to be jumping down the throat of anyone who accuses him. He also appears to be at least trying to find wolves. My suspicions of him have now lessened; although still remain. But I will change my vote because my only qualm about Rowain is his seeming overreliance on the easy excuse. 'You guys only want to attack me because I am an easy lynch, obviously you are wolves'
My vote is going to be switched to Catwalk because of this odd feud that is going on between him and Lewwyn. Admittedly, they could argue it is due to past bad blood between them, but I also think it is ideal cover for a wolf.
Pick a fight with someone everyone knows you have bad blood with, and then the consistency of your arguments will matter less because people will dismiss the fight as you continuing the previous ugly sentiments. It also effectively puts the wolf in his own little bubble, where he can be seen joining in but isn't actually accomplishing very much.
I chose Catwalk over Lewwyn, because I believe Lewwyn to be the more likely to get caught up in a grudge match as a villager. Whereas Catwalk is more likely to remain 'cool headed' enough to come up with the idea for one as a wolf. Secondarily, I also agreed with most of Lewwyns argument about Mardoc and think that Catwalk trying to pick it apart seems a bit spurious, particularly when Catwalk is the person constantly going on about not splitting the vote too much.
