[SPOILERS] Lurkerloos and map discussion

I'm not sure if I've seen this right, but looking at Commodore's last screenie - are we looking at a land invasion of scooter by Commodore at the same time as a land invasion of Commodore by scooter?

Looks like he has bypassed the galleon stack, possibly thinking that they are empty?

Nah, I think he suspects they're full. They just can't declare on T222 due to the forced peace treaty.

Commodore's plan is to simply follow and slaughter the galleons with Frigates. Pindicator could take Callum's Villa and unload his stack on it and keep his galleons safe in port, but then Commodore does what Scooter did earlier to Slowcheetah and blockade it in port with double-stacked frigates (and it reveals Pind's hand to Commodore). Though Pindicator might be able to break through and raze Swallowdale.

The safe thing is to simply take them back home and use them as zone defence against Commodore's invasion. Worse thing Pind could do is press the invasion.

I don't think Pindicooter have any good options left. Probably related to why they're not having much fun anymore and are tempted to Alt-Q on purpose...

I have to admit, I didn't consider Commodore's solution to 'this stack could go anywhere'. If I were in his shoes, I'd have kept my Frigates in the fog, and probably failed to intercept.

The problem for pindi/scooter is that they can't declare before Commodore. They would need to play this turn now roll it and play the next turn (without a war declaration this isn't a double move). That would give them a chance to move the Galleons out of reach.

i have a feeling it would cause problems anyways, since its clearly aggressive.

The rule for this game is "no double moves when it could matter". Not "no double moves while at war".

I'm not sure their current reaction is so much better.

Its pretty juvenile but one can understand the frustration and given the ways we've seen frustration play itself out in these games, "stick him with 100 trade windows" beats "gift all my crap to a 3rd party" by a long shot.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

I think that they were generally peeved that he made them relocate their empire, and the latest setting off point was him attacking them again, which they feel is salt in the wound, and he feels is necessary to gain to be able to be competitive in the long run. From a global knowledge of knowing everyone's motives, it doesn't make sense, but I know if I was in their shoes and kept getting beat up upon by the same player I would get somewhat annoyed too.

Plus they have the Noble Hates Commodore Machine TM to goad it on.
