Thought for sure the FF bosses would end up as post-bait; guess I needed to stick to older bosses.
Not a lot to say this turn, war preparations continue apace. I think F1 captures the spirit of the empire as well as anything else: I'm not honestly sure if I'm going to have enough in time but I think we're fast approaching the point where the additional units from waiting are worth less than attacking sooner. I don't have any other options, really, so I think one way or another I have to go for it. I wish I could say that I had a plan beyond (1) Build lots of units (2) Acquire more land (3) ??? (4) Profit but I don't. Also, I had to move the HAs out of Quivira this turn which was a little scary, since TBS has increased both his "in-between cities" stack and his border garrison. It can't be helped, if I play the whole game shitting my pants at what TBS might or might not do I might as well not play. Janissaries are buildable from next turn and we'll try and stuff a few into Quivira to compensate for the missing HAs but there's no question the city is as vulnerable as it has been at any point since the first TBS attack right now. What's currently visible could probably be catted and cleaned-up but much more than that would pose a real problem to the current units on hand. I need to get a couple boats done to increase my mobility at some point in the near future - the TBS border is about as much of a pain in the ass to defend as any one could draw up. I think I forgot to show last turn that a barb city popped up in the iceball islands in the north. BTW, seriously fuck these shitty things compared to the islands others have available to them. Every single time I look at them I want to punch a Xenu. Anyway, those Archers can be farmed for XP at a later date if we haven't gotten a Heroic Epic-eligible unit yet. Hopefully a few more 25% victories are in my future and that part of the situation is irrelevant. While the location 1S is clearly superior, its not superior enough to be worth a settler, so I'll capture it once it grows. That's all I've got for the moment - anyone have any questions about anything? Look like there will only be one turn this weekend per Thoth in the tech thread so this is as good a time as any to ask them.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
I'm convinced you simply don't have a taste for venison. And whale? My god, what a delicacy!
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
If you were going to punch a Xenu, would you say the best place to target would be the nose, jaw, gut, or.... fist?
Punching seems so pointless.
Kicking, on the other hand, not pointless. Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
Aw man, if Oxy is the most disappointing villain in the FF franchise then what does that make the dead guy?

I'd definitely rather be Ultros than Sephiroth.
In game parlance, you were the smartest of us all, because you got out quickly.

This is going to be a lame report, mostly because I had to pause after ending my turn and didn't feel like constantly unpausing to do pull up screens, etc. Also next turn is 150, so I'll be comprehensive there.
