[spoilers] Pindicator and Regoarrarr - Bismark of Ethiopia

Played and finished the turn. I queued up 2 axes in CJ and OTOF which we could whip this turn before bulbing.

We could even also whip the barracks in CJ to drop it to size 3. Really wish we had the rules for holy cities...

It looks like you get a random number added to the population of the city. There's a malus for palace as well as any cities that already have religion (none currently).

So even if we maximize the populations of More Cowbell, it isn't a guarantee. So I don't know....

Yeah, since its random and we do love our rng this game i am unsure about whipping solely to influence the hily city. If one if those cities needs a whip on its own merits then by all means go for it but considering how we want to grow our econ i'd rather have a sub-optimal holy city. Well, it would suck to gave it be CPH or Coneheads but i can live with the others

Would also hate for it to be Blues Brothers, so close to Krill

That is true... Actually, 1ton would be bad because it wouldn't be ideal to line up Moai and Wall Street. Well, if any of those cities have a good reason to whip then let's whip, otherwise let's try to keep the economy rebounding.

Okay. So here is where we stand, with each of our cities, their population, and whether it would be good or bad for it to be the holy city

* Church Lady - size 4 - it's the capital so regardless of what we want, it's NOT going to be the holy city
* Celebrity Jeopardy - size 6 - it would be okay but not ideal as it doesn't have a lot of other commerce tiles
* More Cowbell - size 4 - DING DING DING - this is totally where we want it. The thinking now is that we're going to (eventually) move our capital here
* One Ton of Fanmail - size 5 - not great. It's exposed on the coast, and it's also going to get Moai. Though I guess a Moai / Wall Street isn't the END of the world
* Coneheads - size 4 - awful. Over on the other landmass, this would probably be the worst possible location (pre-prays to the RNG gods)
* Crazy Plant Head - size 3 - not great. Fairly exposed to Krill, though the extra holy city culture could help us try and control our border
* Blues Brothers - size 4 - pretty bad. On the coast, and easily one-moved by Krill
* Wayne's World - size 2 - this would be pretty bad also as it would likely cause Yuri to make this even MORE of a target than he probably already has it.

So here's my plan.

a) swap to 2/35 axe in Coneheads, and double whip (4 -> 2) it. We'll overflow to the settler, and complete it next turn (we'll probably also grow back to size 3 in CH since our food box will be full
b) 1-whip (4 -> 3) the barracks in Blues Brothers, and overflow into the axe. We don't really NEED a whip here, but we have the happiness to spare, and can use this to start pumping out units.
c) Double whip (5-> 3) the axe in OTOF, overflowing into Moai.
d) Saving the "best" (i.e. most contoversial lol) for last. Well, my plan was to double whip the axe, stow it, and then single whip the barracks to completion in front of it, but somehow the axe has 6/35 in it. I am blaming Pindicator of course but at this point, I think I am going to dry triple-whip something devil Shhhh don't tell Pindicator shhh

In better news, we met Nakor (Ceiliazul)

He's over to Krill's east (thumbsup) - he is currently underneath Turd Ferguson. He has one fewer city than us, has 40 gold currently and has only met Azza and Krill (of the people that we've met).

Oh did I mention HE HAS 40 GOLD CURRENTLY?!!??! It actually took me a bit to realize that (duh) that means that he already has Currency. Yes we do still lack Mathematics. Somebody please shoot me bang

Cyneheard recently converted to Buddhism (Krill's religion) and Mist (BRickAstley) has converted to Hinduism (Dazed/Scooter's religion)

In better news, our horses are hooked up and we can build chariots. We could even dry-whip a chariot (2 pop) in CJ lol

Oh and just because I feel like kicking my (our) selves in the crotch

It appears that (at least this branch of ) our circumnavigation journey is going to be thwarted, oh so close to completion. There are a few other landmasses that might jut out a bit so we'll have to see if we can get those last 4 tiles

So with Pindicator out at a picnic or wherever, there was nobody able to stop me from my evil plan devil lol

Plus side - our power, which has dropped to 5th place @ 102K (leader has 135K), will be upped by 2 Barracks, 2 axemen and 1 archer next turn (total of 21K), plus an already finished chariot and axeman next turn.

But the real question is, how would Mani do his business? Was it all in vain??!?!!?!?!?1111oneoneone

Of course not. The RNG hates us, remember? It was founded in Celebrity Jeopardy, which at least is probably 2nd place in the "good places" list.

So I moved the Christian missionary NE. He could convert either the capital (currently has an unhappy face) or More Cowbell (if we want to get a Christian Temple in there) next turn.

We have impending revolts to Christianity and Organized Religion whenever we decide is best. I'd think that we would want to at least let this turn complete (so we can get our power levels back up) and in any case we probably want to revolt towards the end of the turn, after most if not all of our neighbors have played.

Speaking of neighbors, I moved Turd Ferguson the C1 axe at Wayne's World over towards Yuri's spear that had been hanging out there. I checked odds for next turn and it was only 70%, which I wouldn't have taken, but he did move the spear back. He also moved an axe out from his city to the west of WW. I would assume that he's going to station them both on a tile in between us, which is fine - I was mostly wanting to move his unit back so that we can safely farm the corn next turn.
