Sorry, nights atm so pretty out of it a lot of the time - not the best for forward planning!
Just played the turn. The turn before had an interesting development of 5 galleons standing in range of MCG, EA and WS, so I had to rejig the defences a bit. Subsequently, not as many units in MCG, not that I think we could have saved it.
From the positioning of the galleons and the amount of troops NE of MCG I think he emptied the galleons there, so I moved all the knights into MCG. Otherwise I sat tight and whipped if possible. In hindsight I should have turned on autopromote but that would have been minimal help really. Our saving grace is he only has 6 cannon 2 cata, although the cannon will get good odds and so probably survive, and he can bombard with the frigates anyway.
Oh and he has cavalry next turn to mop up.
