[NO PLAYERS] Lurking and Mapmaking PB55

Looks like those two Chariots won't be enough to take LewGasBrickNob's capital, as they'll have a fortified Warrior defending and a turn of advance notice to whip an Axe, but I'm also not sure LGBN can take SD's city, if he was able to cram an Archer in there (can't tell from his screencap). LGBN's position isn't great long-term unless they can get Amicola to sue for peace early and then eat SD, as SD will hate them forever and they've gone all-in on military with plenty of decent land they could have been populating instead.

It's too bad the Chariots didn't get there a turn earlier or later, I think it was risky for Lewwyn not to post a Warrior or something to his northwest when his capital could otherwise be 2-turned out of the fog. I don't know how strongly I feel about the geopolitics, but I think Lewwyn's stance that Amicalola should've looked westward instead is a bit optimistic. If you settle an aggressive front city towards one neighbor and send units forward to keep them honest, isn't that the perfect window for your other neighbor to do the same to you?

I think we can grant the reload. Looks like an honest misclick. Any objections?

It's an obvious mistake reported immediately. I don't think you need to wait for any more opinions...

I popped the C1 war chariot, but unfortunately it did a lot of damage. I offered peace, which I doubt he takes, but worth a try anyway.

No idea how this goes, but we're having to fight very very hard for this cautious and fairly laid-back border area. This is why it sucks to border Gavagai. That "Border?" sign is the halfway point between capitals. shakehead

This is going to be interesting...

Can somebody give me and other newbs a quick summary of their relationship. It looks like a long and mutual "friendship".

Still a newb, but I read PB38 where they started close. Gavagai was Egypt then as well. Commodore's other neighbors were plako, pindicator and (slightly further) superdeath. It ended with Comm, Plako and Pindi vs Gavagai, and nobody trusting anybody.

Not sure who Gavagi is trying to kid. He was already planning to try to kill Comm and had been almost since they met.

That gold, in mind, was obvious lewwyn's when i was making the map... i should've been more careful and just placed SD a bit more south somehow.
