Superdeath takes it seriously

Something to pass the time
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Havent found the borders of anyone that has found me, but i have found and not made contact (yet) with Jowy to my north east. Sending my first warrior to explore a bit before the settler pops. Sadly, Serdoa already has a 2nd city. God damn, i wish i had Ethiopia.

A game that brought me into a new world of gaming. Guess it correctly to get an opponent analysis!

Hah, the title did it for me anyhow. I probably wouldn't have known where this was from, aside from a nagging sense of familiarity... except that there was one location that the community commonly referred to as the "Breaking Benjamin Room." It's from Halo 2.

[*]Serdoa - Victoria (FIN/IMP) / Ethiopia (Oromo Warrior [Musketman] / Stele [Monument])

Combining the still quite powerful Financial with arguably the best expansion trait in the game in Imperialistic. Serdoa's gameplan is probably to shit out settlers using his UB to win culture wars and possibly bulb currency. Other than bumbling through the ai diplo options in a recent game, he has shown to still have what it takes to win one of these games. Solid player, if he doesnt win this its because some idiot hit him with Keshiks.

[*]Tarkeel - Roosevelt (IND/ORG) / Khmer (Ballista Elephant [War Elephant] / Baray [Aqueduct])

Hoping to coast to Ballistaphants and eat someone, and then ride the late game with IND/ORG, Tarkeel brings probably the only combo that i wouldnt potentially swap with in this game. That said, im sure he will be a formidable foe as he has been quite the active dedlurker and seems to know what he is doing.

[*]superdeath - Sury (EXP/CRE) / Mongolia (Keshik [Horse Archer] / Ger [Stable])

Goal is to keep up with the IMP players in cities, either use the most obvious HA attack ever to capture more land, or use the GER to have better mounted units/knights in the future. If im not leading in total land/cities by t120, ive lost.

[*]Ruff_Hi - Catherine (CRE/IMP) / India (Fast Worker [Worker] / Mausoleum [Jail])

Ah, ruff. We have a small bit of history, i killed him, he rushed me, and he has been not the best at keeping game info out of tech threads. How is he has a player? I dont have a great grasp on it as his threads have been rather dull and boring (to me) to read, so i quickly exit out of them. Seems competent, and will likely be involved in some tech thread/reload related thing in this game.

[*]Jowy - Julius Caesar (ORG/IMP) / Aztec (Jaguar [Swordsman] / Sacrificial Altar [Courthouse])

Need i say more?

[*]Automated Teller - Willem (FIN/CRE) / Rome (Praetorian [Swordsman] / Forum [Market])

Most likely to pink dot to grab more land before transitioning into a praet/catapult attack around t95. Not a ton of synergy in the pick, but a solid choice overall.

Settling my 3rd city in 2t, with a worker in place to start the pigs the very same turn. Due to not getting Ethiopia, ive had a couple wasted worker turns that just ended up being roads. It is what it is..
