@ El Grillo. You should lurk in a more dedicated fashion . But seriously glad anytime you stop by. Its basically been an in game sandbox with brief moments of tenseness. So pretty much perfect for me and yes I'm having fun.
@ Lewwyn. I would have expected to only be 1 or two cities ahead even with them both slowing their games down early going respective religion lines. That being said they are both good players. Ramk is imperialistic and if PB52 and PB54 taught me anything is that imperialistic is a great early game trait for catching up when you've been set back. Charriu needs a couple more cities and needs to land either pyramids or colossus to remain competitive and needs both soon. Charriu did run circles around me in our first war and out expanded me even though I was imperialistic India early in PB52, so I definitely don't count him out. To actually answer your question I am cautiously optimistic. The odds of a construction era invasion instead of going code of laws first is rising. I may have to move sooner depending on GKC of course. I also don't like the central island spot specifically because of GKCs inner city and may move it to grassland hill even though it will slow down building of Maoi. Now your just getting random thoughts.
Other random stuff. Logged in briefly and Civac did not take open borders; sigh. I re-offered to Elkad just in case /shrug. Also Ramk has a galley out near his island. May have just dropped off a settler so need to get my galley back.

After that it gets a bit funky. IF I go for plains hill I can't load 2nd settler on T78 UNLESS I go for Charriu wine island first just due to where 2nd settler is. However if I do grassland hill spot I can do either without losing a turn. Lets just assume I don't waste a turn either way (either unload on wine island first or decide on grassland hill and do either way)
T79 settle one city and unload on the other
T80 settle second inner island city.
Which city to settle first, where to settle. Sounds like good questions for a dedlurker
I sadly moved my scout too far into GKC and his road network isn't good enough for me to get back and determine if I have competition. My gut is that I have a little time. That port city was only at two and he was farming instead of chopping, meaning soonest would be a 2 pop whip at 4 pop for a galley (unless he started producing immediately and then maybe a one pop from 3 down to 2. He is working his gold from that city so I doubt he would go down to 1 pop. Another reason to settle grassland hill is it is safer. On the other hand stealing 2 tiles from Ramk vs 1 from Charriu and grassland hill will slow down Maoi build eventually.

Hm redoing math I actually realize I waste a turn going for plains hill spot either way. Makes spot decision easier.

@ Lewwyn you almost bumped me off the front page!!!! I appreciate keeping people involved. So in order to rectify my low page placement:
Redoing math further I don't actually need the barracks or library for overflow chain. For some reason I forgot I can just take all 6 'good' tiles. I just need 2 units. Sadly just barracks into spear I have queued results in me being 1 hammer short..... I may just want the 2 units though before barracks to garrison things. I don't think GKC will be spicy in the middle if he is looking to be spicy with HAs, but /shrug.
Speaking of spicy...... CHARRIU LOST A CITY!!!
I mean I said Lazteuq should be the beatdown...... I just didn't think it would actually work. To note I'm not sure if it is a raze or capture. I am still currently trying to get graphs on GKC because I foolishly thought that might be more important. I think I'll keep on it even with scout over there though? Lazteuq put 66 eps into me already....... Probably just forgot to switch, but means it would take longer. I may drop graphs on Ramk.

So last night and through into this morning I've been thinking of the below greed dots in Charriu land:
I knew they were stupid, but I wanted to SOOOO BAD. Luckily Charriu and Lazteuq made peace this turn and I won't make the mistake of settling either.
I also decided if I wasn't going to do stupid things east I wanted to get the 2 good western cities settled asap. I was planning on whipping a worker out of the capital as you might remember. Between wanting to work cottage tiles, keep growing, and needing both existing galleys for island defense I needed a 3rd galley from somewhere...... I'll have to 1 pop whip it not on whip timer, but that is fine I think. Settler for island will come from Grog, which will get a chop I hadn't planned on doing for that settler, but ASAP means asap (I think T86 or 87 settle). Settler for pig city will come from Donkey; T86 is when forest will be cleared, but I think will be settled T87 unless I grow 1 turn faster than I think or find labor / willingness to do a chop (unlikely). I think I'm doing barracks and then 2 units for overflow for for norther fish settler get that sweet exp going. So that city I believe will be turn 84. So I should be fully settled other than jungle cities by T87 ish with 13 cities!!! 3/5 are island cities which will be 3c. 3/5 (some different) will grab a seafood worth 2c. I think its ok to settle this many before currency........ Mainly want them growing sooner. I will probably settle the 2 jungle border cities when I get currency.

Sometimes I overthink things sometimes I under think things.
See that 1 little tree on the deer. Ya I forgot that it was forested. I was like ya I'll move the worker onto the road and then it can load onto the galley this turn..... NOT. So I'll load it into galley next turn and then turn after will start improving pig. Blah.
Anyways Paddy Doyle's Boots (probably known from here out as 'Boots') is a nice little city that steals Charriu's fish and some random mainland tiles I won't ever be able to improve safely. It certainly disincentivizes him to settle a city here so I can keep that city empty which is good.
Ramk is getting spicy. Peace expires next turn. I sent him fish for fish. He sent it back. His power is climbing and his galley is within range of northern city........ I don't know if German's understand fish for fish. I had whipped Barrets Privateers for a worker as planned and now I've whipped it for emergency axe, so it went from size 4 to size 1. Also I'm now 6th in food. Moving some units up just in case as well.

You're doing really well, getting a lion's share of islands on both sides it looks like. I suppose it helps that both neighbors have had a city razed at this point.
What do the power graphs look like?

Settled the middle island. You saw it last turn so /shrug no new picture. I was going to do a graph picture for Lewwyn showing both, BUT Ramk continuing to put all his EPs into me caused me to lose graphs this turn. Even with the fish for fish I'm super suspicious he is just throwing his game to try to injure me for destroying 1 city, which is his call. Mind someone knows HBR so I maybe shouldn't be the person he is worried about (unless he plans on just giving up to GKC). Its a key reason I didn't want to settle Boots or Royal Oak somewhere they would need a large garrison, as tempting as 'Super Greed' spot was.

Met Donovan Zoi and Charriu work boat again north of Civac. Hopefully can meet Donovan and get open borders.
Speaking of: ELKAD GET A BLOODY BOAT OVER TO ME SO WE CAN BOTH BENEFIT!!!! Seriously he knows its possible, he doesn't want to just give just me benefit, and it would benefit both of us.

T81 I wasn't going to report this turn BUT Ramk did a turn of EP on me, as in built/researched it (whats the term?). So NO GRAPHS FOR YOU!!! I switched to all on GKC. Last I saw power was spiking and this EP move just confirms. Means I'm not whipping Whiskey for a granary. That city now has 4 things in queue...... I've also sent every metal unit I have that direction. I'm going to stare at this screen some more and decide if Donkey is delaying its settler. To be fair if I need to be whipping whiskey a lot than stealing its pig doesn't seem smart, so maybe 1 turn for safety? Donkey actually did grow 1 turn faster than planned, so would put me back on original timing (ya did it, sad face).

Now listen I get being mad at someone for razing a city early, but Ramk is imperialistic and very easily could choose / have chosen to bounce back. Also him likely invading soon means GKC can just swoop in and grab everything which isn't cool. I got a city razed in PB52 early from Charriu. Felt bad. I bounced back well and Charriu and I were friendly the next 150 some turns.
Donovan has open borders with Civac, so hoping to get myself (I should have done last turn, but was noob). I seem to be at the middle island, so really hoping as I imagine going to war to move through at this point just everyone has a galley. Lazteuq does not have an island btw. GKC only has 1. Meaning I have 5 routes that need filled as well.
