In that case the hill should be better, yeah.
Regarding the second scout, 60 was played with barbs off though, right? (Don't know about 61)
I usually find myself scrambling for units for MP purposes etc early on, so I would hesitate to give up a warrior. It is an option, I just don't think we should plan for it automatically.

61 has barbs on like this one, without cities and ships. But its less dificulty so maybe that was the reason for not having issues with barbs.
You are right i should think about it too

Im afraid i was right about the tundra and ice and ugly stuff. I think setting in marble with those crapy tiles might not make sense?
What do you think?

Im still for it. That's a floodplains in the fog 2N of the marble! The capital might ultimately not become our certified bureaucap commerce monster™, but it will give us an explosive start, which imo is what matters most. At size 6 it works the wheat, tundra FP, desert FP, fur, and two grassland cottages, with the option of a PH mine, if there is nothing better in the fog.
SIP has more food, butt the point still remains that we can't really develop all the floodplains that early. So pick them up with a second or third city, and develop that as the main commerce hub (the cap can help with cottages in the mid game)
But I can also understand if you decide for the better long term capital. Part of my motivation might be that the marble variant just feels more interesting. However, we do get less hammers than the IMP guys early on, and the marble could help with that.

I might have asked you, there is no more food in the city spot, but we might be able to move and get another wheat, i felt not worth the move, so i settled where we thought.
Apeared some gold and silver, so it seems happy wont be an issue. It seems juicy the PH of the east.
This night ill post a bit about hydrogen if i feel like. I feel a bit down on morale right now

Agree with settling on the marble, 1E would have been worse than the original SIP. I still think the cap is ok, it has 6 bad tiles, but so what? We'll use it to get us started towards the better long term spots.
I also like the PH 2N of the new wheat which you identified for a 2nd or 3rd city. The wheat will be in or borders by t26, so we probably can start improving it before settling. I think a tundra silver without a river isn't a very good tile, so maybe we just settle on top of it? Obviously too early to tell.
There seems to be coast NE of the new wheat?

This game seems the same size as PB56, just saw Fabled's scout. Mongols.
It seems that gold was contested and right now we are closer to it. God bless your decision of moving xD.
I didnt double turn so that he gets the same intel
Im thinking on getting wheel after BW so that we can road to the second city, those 2 gold are important i would say.
Next scout move i would say 2 north

The proximity is concerning, but Fabled probably is the neighbour we wanted.
Yes to wheel, TRs are important and wet surely can improve all food tiles in time anyways
