Don't be fooled by Tarkeel having more techs as vanrober for example has the much more expensive Mathematics. Am I alone with this feeling or did we possibly end this PB to soon. With an attack on Tarkeel by Superdeath, the former might have been slowed down enough for vanrober to get even or ahead. Oh and hey the barbs did well in tech
I said this before but I feel like I may have ended this game too soon as vanrober might have had a chance to get back. So sorry for that vanrober.
I would say not at all.
At lest how i see it. I knew i was first in GNP and i said in the thread several times, but reading Tarvac post and lookit at their screenwhots, right now in the last turn they were getting 20gpt when i was done on expenses getting abrely 1 or 2 gpt, working all the gold tiles i had available. Also tarvac had so many growing cottages while i had barely 4 or 5 in total in my land. So its not just like the gold they were makign was oversteping mine, it was that they also had more possibilities to keep getting gold into their cities.
Tarvac were reallyl close to us in power and they already said that they would have had no trouble with that little stack of SD. I had a 20 unit stack of axes in the border of mjmd and i wasnt even making a huge gain, i would have proabbly spend it all in burning his hill city. Maybe i would have kept it just to get something out of it. But yeah i think without construction i couldnt get mjmd, and i was never getting into construction. If i coul hav get to construction somehow i wouldnt have conceded. With construction ahead on anyone else i could have pushed into tarvac or into anyone on the game. I do know that, but i barely had 125 gold and i was needed 175 more gold to get to construction, and that amount would have been tons of capture gold while still losing money with my troops out of my territory.
Also if i didnt look it bad, i already saw tarvac ahead on a couple of beakers on us, if we add to that that they still had a better perspective for the rest of the game... IT was more than necessary this concesion.
So if we somehow woudl have been farther of mjmd or managed not to be super enemies maybe we could have came back into the game. But the perspectives werent like that.

We had 20 base (so 30 modified) hammers invested into Stonhenge. The 27 hammers for ORG can't possibly be right. That is a single lighthouse on our island city. The ORG extra production has to be 30 hammers.
Edit: No trouble is not the right word. SD would have razed our border city with certainty. We are extremely confident that would have been it though in terms of city losses. Our gnp would have taken a beating though.

Thanks for the Stonehenge info.
Yes, thanks for the ORG mention. My mistake.

I would say Ramk. But at the same I think it is generated automatically using the player and empire name.

Vanrober how many spears did you have in Lithium at the end? No particular reason
I agree Vans large stack would have been able to take OAT, but the losses would have been brutal. I had some very promoted units over there. It it time to go now, haul away your anchor.

Did anyone else have terrible TERRIBLE barb luck or was it just me?
4% bad rolls, non-stop never ending hordes because both my neighbors got eliminated and tundra is a spawn zone for those little buggers.
Love/hate relationship with Commodore.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Barb luck was OK. We had backup units available in almost all cases but in the few instances when we do not our units won their ~90% rolls (though barely sometimes). There were a lot of barbs though, mostly coming from the tundra area to our north/south.
