I'm curious who receives more benefit from Thoth's continued existence as a rump state? Miguelito or Yuri
Not that either have the capacity to break the standoff atm, but if either could, who should?

Another question worth considering, does Thoth even benefit Commodore at this point, given that he prevents Yuri and Miguelito from engaging in direct confrontation?

I think Yuri, given he's in the stronger position. Now, I'm not sure he's happy with it given the possibility of a praets and cats invasion, but I think it's better than a close rival being there long term. And dogpiles are easier with three people.

I actually think Mig benefits more, as it gives him the room to leverage IND into catching up.

I think the play may be to attack Commodore rather than Thoth once we have crossbows. Crossbows seems to be the missing piece which will let us hold his cities, they're good vs everything he has except horse archers, and war elephants should be able to handle horse archers. He is on the way to longbows, which will make matters more complicated. But at least longbows aren't good at counterattacking (...)

Commodore actually has a history of using G3 Longbows on the offense, so this could be interesting.

I don't like Yuris going after Commodore. If you truly want to take territory you pretty much have to kill the capital anyways and Thoths is a natural fortress vs Mig and you know fighting 2 cities vs 4.

With Thoth seemingly going after mig, I hope Yuri gives him enough time to inflict some damage on that front before rattling the cage.
