nice work but at least in your production city you have forgotten to count the free +2 food from the citysquare.

you would have 5f from sheep and deer + two 3f farms and the city square giving you 18 f for 4 pop => +10 f enough to work all 5 ph-mines at size 9

or at size 8 you can work 4 phm 1 ghm 1 gf deer sheep center getting 16f for 8 pop and the still standing 3 forest give you enough health for the forge.

PS: I'm no MM-expert so there can easily be better city setups.

I was under the impression that the 2 food is used to work the city tile - so it is a food-neutral tile and I cannot actually use it.

Alas, it does not seem to be the case looking at the screenie.

Therefore I shall edit them to take account of this.

EDIT: My edits are done if anyone wants to look at the changes

Well my busy half of the week is kicking in (Thursday, Friday and Saturday are jam-packed) so I'm afraid I have to compile two reports into a shorter one for now. I think you can forgive me after spending considerable hours on my 'analysis'.

Anyway, turn fifteen came and went without anything spectacular happening, both scouts found absolutely nothing of value and as such I shan't put screenshots up of them.

Turn sixteen is much better for my civ, as my first worker, Josiah Bartlet was built and sent to start mining the silver asap for a much more profitable tile to use than the plains hill I am using right now.

My scouts have found new tiles but still nothing too fancy, luckily they are close enough to fit on one screenshot now!

Even better, the overflow and previous hammers invested means that my second warrior will complete next turn, just as I finish researching 'The Wheel'. I will likely go worker>Settler next in terms of builds, with a chop or two hopefully helping to rush out the settler quickly.

In terms of tech, I *think* that Hinduism hasn't been founded yet (though I could find out for sure if I knew how to find the log!), so I might consider going into Mysticism and Polytheism depending on those findings. An early religion would really help the happy cap in my capital as I aim to reach the maximum population.

If not, I will go straight for pottery, as I will need that for Metal Casting.

So far, so good in my opinion.

PS, if anyone can tell me how to find the Combat Log/Events Log, it would be highly appreciated :-)

Well then, as a reward for the answers yesterday and for a lesser update, I have a nice juicy update with 5 screenies in it! Us Germano-Brits know how to look after our lurkers!

First of all, my scouting party are nearly together, with Paul Scholes soon to be turning for home to help escort settler one.

The only worry to that plan is this hairy monstrosity (not Amy Winehouse) which has appeared by my warrior after I ended turn.

Luckily if I send my warrior running back home, the bear shouldn't catch me! Cowardly maybe, but necessary.

Now lets look inside Cha Cha Cha again.

As you can see, I have began work on my second worker (Leo McGarry), and thanks to the forested plains hill tile, I can get it complete in 6 turns! Not too shabby.

Also, I found my answer, and as noone has founded Hinduism yet, I am going to research Mysticism now and then reassess after that. If noone has it by then, I'm making a run for it before Pottery and Priesthood.

What is also interesting is everyone else's capitals seem to be growing nicely now, likely due to their worker start fixing up one or both of their nearby food resources.

But I am not worried, yet!
