I can start on the map but I don't really see a good summary of map-related preferences (though I know a little through PM from Serdoa).

Ok, having looked through, all settings except possible leader bans seem to be clear for Game 1 already now as we have everywhere at least 3 votes for or against it (marked in green below). TMIT stated in post 22 as difficulty Emperor, so that is also clear.

I think it would be good if we talk shortly about that. It seems we have a majority for banning all Fin leaders (olemack, plako, WK and myself) and a majority for banning Inca (TMIT, olemack, plako) and Sury (WK, olemack, plako). So right now would we agree on
No Fin leader, not Sury and no Inca.
I think nobody is in favor of banning Phi, so that stays if you don't tell me otherwise. Discussion should be done about banning India and Mali. My own opinion is that I'd rather ban both as I think nobody is normally keen on Mali so that it is not really a loss anyway and India is due to the Fast Worker so strong that it is nearly a given first pick in any circumstance otherwise - which is not fun, neither for who gets it nor for the others.

As for map settings I wrote Sevenspirits the following:

We decided on no barbs as well. Does anyone has any other strong opinion on the map settings? I would maybe add that it should have place for around 10 peaceful cities (with slight overlap) per player and that it can have water, but should not be built around it (so no Archipelago, Islands or similar stuff which basically skews everything extremely in favor of TGL).
I think it would be good if everyone would shortly voice his opinion on map size (keep in mind 5 player game, though I think giving an estimate on the number of possible peaceful cities is easier for a map maker then hearing "Standard" which can be quite different depending on sea level, map type and so on) and type.
