4 turns to judaism. Hopefully, i don't get beat. Building a spear in cap, need another worker. will use the spear/worker by the cap to (finally) get those pigs online.
Moved into the open to threaten serdoa's worker improving his corn - still threatening the horse. Probably just settle there for awhile.
Probably need more units - might do some cap whipping...

2 turns in a day!!
ok, NOW I have 4 turns to monotheism.
Cap went from spear->worker. Spear is going, with worker, to the pig.
should have ivory and gold hooked up soon, which will be nice.
I'm now thinking I may kick off a GA with my prophet.
If I get judaism, that's a religion and a civic - if I can land monarchy, that's two civics. Might be better to get 0 anarchy than a shrine or a bulb. Not sure.

ok - I got judaism, and in McHale's Navy, where I wanted it Time to make the lib and start making more GP
I'm making a chariot in my cap, which may go south, to harass Serdoa, or north, to deal with an axe TT has wandering around up there. Or maybe I'll make a couple of axes.
Trying to figure out whether I want to build Oracle or not. I can get marble, though it will take a little while...

ok, well, can't build Oracle TT built it - dunno what they took, probably metal casting or construction, depending. If it's construction, that's a problem.
I built the shrine, btw. Gold is more important than I expected on this map (I'm running 50% science with 3 cities and being financial), so shrine income will help - more importantly, I can run 5 specialists once I build my lib. I'm ok with priests as well as scientists. Plus the culture is huge
I'm researching monarchy - that will take some time (13 turns, though with a couple of libs and some scientists, I expect it to go faster).

You built a shrine in a 3CC game? Why, for 3coins? Wouldn't settling it give you more benefit?

no, not for 3 coins.
For 2 things:
1) 3 priest slots (I'm philosophical) + 1 GPP for the shrine itself.
2) culture - best way to gain tiles is culture.
Just wait till I build the ToA in that city...

Got a little unlucky with Serdoa - I had a Dog Soldier on a forest hill - he had an archer and 2 axes. The Dog was dead, but I was hoping it would take an archer an axe with him.
He did what made sense - attacked archer->axe. The archer did a lot of damage, though - enough to give the axe good odds. So I lost a dog for an archer, which isn't an exchange anyone wants to make

Killed the other Serdoa axe and got a worker out of it. I took a chance that I can keep it he might well be able to kill my chariot and get his worker back, but it's worth the chance.
Maybe I should have just deleted the worker - we will see.
Whipped my lib, have another in the cap.
I also should be able to get a worker from zero, i think, with a G II archer once I get my rax up. We will see - I might not.

ok, I definitely should have deleted the worker. An archer killed my chariot and he had nearly 50/50 odds. I hadn't realized it would be that close. Ah well.
Zero settled the gems spot, which is nice - brings him right up against serdoa, too.
Whipping in libs and granaries now and builing more military - ParishsFort should be able to get it's barracks soon and then it'll create a bunch of units.

ok, well, I managed to get another worker stolen. *sigh*
TT grabbed one I had going to quarry the marble. Then he went to make his chariot annoying. But he never promoted it, so MY chariot had 50/50 odds and got 5 XP out of the deal for winning (sweet)
personally, I'd rahter have the worker....
I am in HR, though, and building a couple of missionaries. Going to take one more turn of anarchy to get my religion (am in OR, too)
Dunno if I'll get a priest or a scientist next - if a priest, I'll probably end up either with a GA (eh), settle or bulb. A scientist makes an academy.
The chariot is getting sentry. Not sure who I'm going to be spying on - probably Serdoa, who worries me a fair amount
