I did take another look at pottery-first to see if we could work some cottages in early on, but that at best got the settler out around T40. I hope we get rolling in the next 24-hours, because I am VERY busy on Mondays and would rather have time to completely evaluate what we find in the fog after moving the scout NW-N.

Main Thread Proposal:
Rules clarification: if we give 200 gold to azza with the text "stop trading with TT", is he forced to stop trading?
What if he misses the text? Is he allowed to stop trading and then start again?
Same for war to.

Well, the simple answer is offer 1g with that text, and then wait for a counter proposal and then negotiate. I just want to get this game rolling and stop these "rules this, rules that" discussions.

My point is, what if he takes the money but doesn't stop trading - either because he chooses not to or he doesn't see the text?
I agree, though I think the rules discussion is more out of boredom while waiting for sunrise(089).

It's not something that we can really enforce. We're not going to do a reload because so-and-so didn't close borders.

sunrise hasn't been online since Jan 10th. I'm a patient guy, so I'm inclined to just sit back and wait until someone else speaks up impatiently.

Hey Q, you said that you were going out of town soon? Or would be unavailable after this weekend? I can't remember when though. The game is about to be loaded this evening if you are still available. I'll try to log in as soon as I can so we can mull over the results of our scout movements before settling. I need to play the turn before going to bed this evening (hopefully in the next 2 hours), otherwise I won't get to it until until quite late in the timer tomorrow. Not in danger of missing the turn, but still I'd rather play in a timely manner.

I leave tommorow for 2 weeks, but I'll be making an effort to log in once a day for this (/WW19) so I should be able to comment each turn.
If you can't get to it, ill try log in and take some pictures.
If we're set in stone with our moves I can make them (though is rather not), particularly the scout move.
