Old Tom, I have you all to myself now, don't I? You will have to watch out for that creepy Observer voyeur.
WW26 Lurker Thread
|
I saw the Observer Effect browsing the forums yesterday and had a small WTF moment.
I'm a little sorry I did not last longer --- was truly curious if my identity would be guessed.
Young Will in Egypt but available at the weekend? Can't be Jkaen then. Can it?
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57
In progress: Rimworld
I'd think duelling perhaps would be better saved for later in the game(s) it has been used.
Observer, if Jowy isn't the good Ser, then who has adopted his style? How would he know that jowy was gonna do some other, perfectly normal style this game? What would he gain? And what wouldn't he stand to lose if he was found out and people started commenting on it?
Played: FFH PBEM XXVI (Rhoanna) FFH PBEM XXV (Shekinah) FFH PBEM XXX (Flauros) Pitboss 11 (Kublai Rome)
Playing:Pitboss 18 (Ghengis Portugal) PBEM 60 - AI start (Napoleon Inca) (July 24th, 2013, 16:55)Molach Wrote: I'd think duelling perhaps would be better saved for later in the game(s) it has been used. We suggest, 'for the lulz'? Jowy said last game that players should mix it up each game to avoid being predictable. Also, his 'style' wasn't natural at all, it was totally different to his normal posting. Observations suggest that it is more likely one of the 19 other players thought it would be funny to play Jowy, than that Jowy is acting the same way again. We are disappointed that more players are not roleplaying to hide their true selves. Perhaps if they had been given 'known' characters, like in the computer-game heroes WW game, there would have been more roleplay. Ryan is in Egypt too, we have observed in the past, but we would be impressed if he were hiding himself behind Young Will's mask. Perhaps Ichabod is Ser Jowy-Perceval. We have observed no obvious Ichabodisms elsewhere.
IT HAS BEEN OBSERVED
if i was still in the game, i'd be following Rob's path. Almost everything he posts, im like "YEAH EXACTLY" - If you hadn't posted here, Gaspar, I'd peg him as you.
But then again, if he's wolf, he's a good one - and he'd have me right where he wanted me.
I'd be a happier wolf right now if I'd managed to see the village methodically kill off/waste every role they own.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out. Quote:Back from camping. I couldn't get a data signal out in the Brazilian outback, but I'm reasonably caught up now. I'll try to post something more holistic before the deadline, but two isolated comments/questions for now: Brazilian outback??! Do I have an impersonator or someone else in the forum is living/visiting Brazil? ![]() EDIT: if it's an impersonator, he shouldn't use such a complex vocabulary. That's way out of my league.
RE: the post in the main thread: I've recieved numerous complaints about Lady ELizabeth and ROb the Filch and a few other players trying to meta clear, we've already had one player leave the game due to lack of desire to play, one making it public in thread, and a good few others voicing the same opinion in private. Not to mention that I mucked up part of the setup from the start in ways where i either have to go back and rewrite rules in the middle or deal with broken rule issues. I'm just really at a point where i think ending this farce and freeing the players from it is the best choice.
