Nothing like the Prodigal Sons: The Odd Couple actually play as themselves.

I don't know Sesame Street, so I dislike the theme. My opinion as a lurker is that the theme should be characters from books. What books? That's probably for Gaspar to decide. Maybe the name of the main protagonists of the books that are his top sellers.

I thought you hated anything with a Q, much less many Qs.... I'm also not a fan of Sesame Street characters, but I know my vote probably counts for approximately squadoosh.

How about things that cannot be destroyed/are invincible, starting with Chuck Norris. Has that been done? Others in this category would include Black Holes, Spear vs. Tank, and Shoney's Steaks (or, pick your own favorite/worst chain restaurant shoe-leather steak that can under no circumstances be eaten without breaking your teeth.

Yes, I'm horrible at themes.

I've managed to avoid all things Twilight, and I'd love to continue that, if I can. /barf

Seriously, how in the hell were tweens allowed to take over popular culture? There are waaaay too many terrible books and movies being peddled around, to say nothing of "music".

How about making our Civ "Soviet Russia" and cities "Civ Micros You", "Pokemon catch You", etc.

I hate you both. nod

I generally prefer themes where the pool of candidates is obvious (Muppets, Players on the Invincibles, Diablo 3 towns, etc.) to ones where we have to show creativity turn by turn (Book Characters, Indestructable Things, etc.) I'm willing to be convinced if someone can up with 15 or so things in the theme for us to start with.

We could do things that make us think of Noble: Minutia, Cardinal Directions, Pedantry, Robots. lol
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
