This is really maddening. LT's 3rd city is SE of the wheat, and he is building up a lot of units despite being behind. He is 1st in power and I'm second. I just don't get how he can afford to be so aggressive when he doesn't even have copper hooked up! I even had to work the copper mine at Carl's Jr because I probably will 1 whip a spear for protection now and when I need to settle the sheep ivory city. If LT also goes for that city instead of much fertile land to his SE, I guess I am going to take it out.
DTG just planted his 5th city and I will settle the crab city just to lock down borders.

Another freaking offensive city plant! I was going to grab the southern sheep 1st but I guess I will have to grab the northern crab city first and guard it. If his city doesn't grab the crab, this becomes a very weak city with not a lot of food and it will cost him. BLEH.

EDIT: BTW the masonry research is because I am going for a shot at TGL.
This game is just frustrating. Almost everyone is planting towards my land instead of much much fertile backlines. I was going to wait for knights before making a move but I might just entertain throwing 20 HAs at someone and ruin both of our games.

TGL EOTT79. This is likely very late but gotta try. I could speed it up by planting a weak city and ruining my dotmap...

Going for a hail mary play of oracle where I planned to build TGL. Khan and LT are both expanding to my land and I might be out of land after 12 cities argh. DTG is up to 9 cities already! Have 6 but planned on setting 3 cities in quick succession but is it too late? After Oracle, take currency, probably skip calendar because no other source of Marble found so MoM is out and only can get sugar for happy, maybe incense if I plant a very forward city toward LT. If I skip both Calendar and CoL (power of Sumerian UB), knight rush can come faster, and I am seriously looking towards warring northward to get more land.

Wetbandit tried to take a swipe at a border city but I saw it coming because he flashed a sword. Shoved enough units in there that made attacking questionable and he agreed since he offered peace. Sucks that I am out of land after 13 cities since 3 opponents settled aggresively at me and have no chance to win, but I will eliminate WB before the game ends Commodore style. Will fire GA in 6t.

Planned on starting offense next turn against wetbandit with 7 knights but i saw a not insignificant stack from HAK on his border city with WB. Window is short since the NA is finishing machinery in 3t but might wait until Hak makes his move. Also have 6 more knights done in 3t

I have a question for the lurkers. When is it appropriate to ask if we should call it? Been tempted for a while but not sure after the drama regarding ending on PB25. I guess Yuri's wants to have some fun with HAK though...
