Can I avoid a dogpile and bring this game home? Looks like Yuris and DZ both wrecked each others games. To facilitate the win, I am strongly considering adopting Vassalage at the end of the 1st GA and attack ipecac with a bunch of G2 xbows and HA/Knights.

ipecac even built a jewish temple and I bet he is going to build a jewish monastery to grab that banana tile. Better work artists at the border city.

Liberalism beeline confirmed. But sadly I don't know if I can beat him to it. Would have been nice to gain visibility in his cap to see if he used the 1st GS for an academy. Maybe adopt vassalage at end of GA and throw 30 xbows at him?

time to not go to war route since ipecac got HBR already. I had to do the same so I don't fall behind. At least this keeps him away from bureau longer.

DZ launched a GA. ipecac did so last turn. I will follow in 2 more turns. The marble city is in a lot of cultural pressure. I was going to build the colossus but DZ did last turn. I guess the TOA it is and the free priest will help out with hammer math.

Starting GA next turn. Put some hammers into forges in cities that will build them. Some of these configurations are very cringeworthy but I dont think you can beat getting early forges especially in a GA.

I believe ipecac is building tons of HA during his GA. Power is 353K on T131 when he launched it. It is now T137 and his power is 428K so that is maybe 10-12HA already?!. Mine was 469K on T131 and now 518K mostly because I am whipping units from the 3 filler cities while the bigger cities build infrastructure and wealth. He got a spy last turn and I bet that was not the great person he was looking for. I am confident that I can beat him to liberalism now but he can scout out my land so need proper defenses everywhere. To supplement, the capital is now building 2 promo HA during the GA because it really has nothing better to build.

So heading to music now but should I just grab drama first to save beakers for that and philosophy? Or did I make a mistake and should have been going to knights instead? Should I have adopted caste first to push back all the culture ipecac is making? My moai city and marble city are going to be in trouble at this rate. I wonder if the choices I am making now are the right ones...

Got Lit this turn. Music next because wow I need more culture. Save gold for 2 turns then spend 4 turns on Drama+Philosophy or just philosophy and save more gold?
Revolt to Bureau+caste on 6th turn of GA and run 7 scientists at Sparta. It needs to take the farm from argos if needed to avoid starting. The capital should finish the GE 1st. then it will only be 5-6 turns for the GS there after building the GLib since I am building the pantheon at Thebes.
Depending on how ipecac plays this out. I will try to beat him to lib which should seal the game. If not go philosophy->NH and build Taj with the GE but follow him to the education path, bulbing most of it with the GS, to research gunpowder. After finishing MT, I should expect to be on par with him military tech wise because I am very sure he is also heading to Cuirassiers skipping guilds if he libs NH.
