Played the turn. Commodore did NOT offer OB (jerk). If only we actually HAD a missionary on a galley, we could unload him to show what we are tryign to do. I offered OB to Cyneheard. Next turn we can unload the missionary over by Coneheads and then re-offer OB to Commdore.

In other religious news, we got another free spread (to the new city of Deep Thoughts)

I closed borders and re-offered them to Azza.

Our eastbound exploring Sean Connery saw a barb galley but ran away. We're still potentially at risk though (the barb galley can't see us but is 2 tiles away). We found another mini-island / continent so there may be some hope. Or more likely we'll get about 1 column away from circumnav before hitting ocean.

I micro'd IW down to completing in 2t by building Research in Wayne's World and Church Lady.

We can 3-whip the library in Coneheads but I have not. It currently has one unhappy face and is working a bare plains river tile (and not working its corn). I could build a settler / worker here but we really don't need either, unless we want to try and push inland with a city west of Coneheads. Seems risky with our current (bad) level of military

At first I thought he was full of it, but then I noticed that's at 10% science! We make 15gpt at 0% science now, because Cyneheard has logged in and given us OB. Sweet, sweet victory.

We have 6 more turns until our great person and 2 turns for Iron Working.

One of the things we were commiserating / complaining about is that we have 2 4 cpt trade routes. Not complaining that we get an extra cpt but the fact that Krill has such DANG BIG CITIES

Actually, assuming that Yuri (or Krill or whoever) doesn't get too frisky (probably a bad assumption), we're starting to round a corner here, economically.

Once we get currency, those 55b in research builds will support much more than 55bpt as wealth builds, not to mention that we'll have 2-3cpt per city, so say 25 commerce per turn, and/or our shrine will give I believe 10gpt currently (and hopefully increasing)
