Yeah, the plan was for civac to finish the turn last night so plemo could play early, but something got lost there. Apologies.

I still fear that setting 36 hours as a goal will effectively mean 48 hours regularly - which we are close to already anyways, and maybe it's unavoidable.

No worries Plemo fwiw, you seem to be at a pretty busy spot in life, and must be commended for keeping up with the game. Hope it's still enjoyable between everything else.

I dont like setting it either. But with as many turn splits as we have, might as well have it now rather than pausing/extending. Everyone should still attempt to play their turn within their normal 24ish play window. The extra time is only there to prevent headaches.

Predictably, as soon as the clock got set to 36 hours, turnplaying began to slacken. I'd rather the 24 hour clock forcing the painful added effort of coming up with a novel excuse for an extension each turn.

I'd be open to swapping - you can witness the mess Ive made since you last took over. other players would be free to object, though (as would you). 

Regardless, I'll play my current turn within the next half an hour.

If everyone would be happy with that and it would speed up pace of play, I'd be good to do that. I got the impression some folks are being conquered and have low-ish availability, and I can fix the latter problem so the game doesn't die.

I have no objection either way. Glad you are able to play your turn here soon Amicalola, I was getting worried I would have to ask for an extension because I won't be working from home tomorrow.

can't play yet due to turn split, and it looks like it's not the right turn to hand over to Ginger after I've been playing exclusively for a while. So I'll need 12 hours, as it's going to be a super long day at work as well, sorry for that.
