There have been some very good posts over night. Can't wait for the 9 am hour to roll through so we can start putting all these good thoughts to use for the sake of the village!

End of Night 2
Uberfish knew the odds were long but he had to chance it. The scribe had claimed to know that there were villages that had survived werewolf attacks before without their seer, but Uberfish knew better. The elven records were more extensive, and more detailed. He knew that even in those villages that survived, most of the village would be dead. With him being a foreigner in these parts, he knew that he needed to get out of town before this dragged on for much longer. In the night, he slipped out the door of the inn, and made a beeline for the forest, avoiding the town square and as many homes as he could. If he could just make it to the treeline at the edge of the forest, he should be safe.

He had almost made it there, too, when he spotted the wolves. They were dragging something large and heavy, he dropped down and tried to stay as inconspicuous as possible. Maybe they wouldn't see him. Then the wind shifted. He saw the hair on their backs prick up, and Uberfish knew he was doomed. He leapt up, dropped his pack, and started a dead run towards the treeline. He nearly got there too. In the morning, the village found Uberfish's backpack 100 yards from the forest line, and one of his boots about 20 yards from the line. The rest of uberfish was hanging from the gallows, his ears torn off and the holes stuffed with paper and pens from the scribe's office.

...

The wolves were angry.

Sorry to see you didn't get to last long in your first time here as villager, Uberfish.

That having been said... two people have notably escaped suspicion in the last two days thanks to dramatic swings... PB and Jkaen. PB seems suspicious enough, but he's on a lot of folks' radars already. So to keep him up there with PB, and because I've found him more suspicious from the start, I'll nominate JKaen for lynching on Day 3.
