WW14 - The Edge of Reason

Why would being a wolf make any difference in asking about who I targetted first night? It's not exactly a question I would consider requires a specific alignment to ask. General curiosity about implied, unrevealed data is something I would think everyone exhibits.

Also: given it appeared at the time that my first night jailing did nothing, why would a wolf specifically refrain from asking? By asking, you appear to be helpful in gathering info when you're reasonably certain that info will be completely useless.

Mattimeo you know you were quite reluctant to announce that you completly negate any influence that targets your victim. Did you gamble that I hit Jkaen on night 1 and are now quite pleased with yourself?

Your early announcing that you are a jailer is also not really helping the village.

Roleblocker is far more a wolf-role to block baners than village.

You sure you are not a wolf who decided to not hunt on night 3 just to get deep cover with a fast 'reveal'?

Does all that above sounds idiotic and stupid? Yes? Well then you know how you sound.

I don't know, I'm actually quite liking the fourth point, and will have to try it in a future game when I actually draw wolf tongue

And the second point is only an idiotic or stupid position if you actually *are* a wolf. Are you projecting there? :D

If you're wanting a more succinct reason as to why I'm currently voting you:

You role claimed under duress.
I consider the role you claimed to be more anti-town.
Therefore, I consider you anti-town.

Whether this argument carries any weight with anyone else remains to be seen. If you'll look closely, you'll note that the voting tally stands at exactly what it did before we started this, the only person I've actually managed to convince being myself.

Rowain, are you happy with the use of your power against waterbat? Aside from how he used it, which i will agree was brilliant. But what are your thoughts today about it, looking back?

This makes me uneasy waterbat. Why did you call for the person to reveal? Also, how did you know that Mattimeo targeted the wolf target and not the wolf doing the attack? Is this me wearing a tinfoil hat or was that a wolf slip?

Yeah that looked like a deliberate test of Mattimeo and subsequent claim by Rowain. The claim was certainly not forced or under duress.
I have to run.

Well if you are considering so much. Please tell me why Rowain the wolf would use his power in such a way and not on people like Lewwyn, zakalwe, novice?
Just a little side info. Had I used the chicken on novice in night 1 all he could have done on day 2 would be voting without any quotes etc. That would have been anti-town.

@pindicator. I'm absolute happy how it turned out. It exceeded expetation.

I think people who are reaching for either rowains or mattimeo's revelations being werewolf reads are really really stretching, no pressure on either read, so I dont think arguments should be based on this

Mattimeo Wrote:Though, I'm very much of the opinion that post restrictions are bad, rather than fun, as many people here seem to be implying. Which is probably a good part of the reason why I can't seem to get the fact that such a role would be wolf-aligned out of my head.

this is my thought process too.
post-restriction are only useful if they target your enemy.
zakalwe Wrote:It did not look like a slip to me. It looked like a deliberate question.

I actually agree with that, and Novice's point too. That Rowain deliberately revealed doesn't change the fact that the role makes far more sense in the hands of a wolf than a villager, though.

Rowain Wrote:To be more clearly: No villager has a lot of data. wolves OTOH do.

I'll repeat this for emphasis: You seem to have gleamed a great deal of info from day 1 that isn't apparent to me!
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.
