That was not a fact, just being optimistic. I'm pretty sure Gaz stays alive (scum did not kill him last night after all).

After last night's two deaths, it was apparent to all that servants of the Dark Lord were still among them. Throughout the day, the group argued bitterly, with Gazglum, who claimed to be particularly strong in Spirit, leading the charge. At the end of the day it was a close match between Meiz and Rowain, with Meiz in the lead until right before sunset. At the end however, by a close margin it was Rowain that was selected to die. Unlike Prometheus however, he accepted it peacefully, saying only "The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills." He then closed his eyes and plunged his own dagger into his heart.
