Only now I noticed that Bob's dot also means he can't settle copper 1st ring if not on the cow. Well at least he has cheap monuments?

Sure the 10 turns are awful and everybody hates monuments, but at 15h you can at least limit it to that with a single chop. With full cost, you either have to set up 2 chops, which comes at a big cost for a third city, or delay it 3-5 further turns in which the city is only working for that, not growing (if it grows on the rice then whips the growth is lost to the monument)
Bob will have the copper once his capital pops 3rd ring on t51. It's risky to leave copper that long in MP, but he won't need to build a monument to get it (and I don't think he can get it any faster given his 2nd city location).

Yeah, even his religion plan wouldn't have gotten copper before the capital pops its borders. Or very close to it

So on the one hand, NoGas were more aggressive there than I would have been. Scouts can actually be peace-enhancing, showing a lack of rush for instance.
But tilting your entire game into Eternal War over a popped scout also seems...a touch immoderate.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out. (October 13th, 2020, 11:13)Commodore Wrote: So on the one hand, NoGas were more aggressive there than I would have been. But in some turns if prospects for winning are beeter for serdoa he will forget that otherwise still has a thing to play for...
I'd love it if superdeath successfully builds his way out of the opening peacefully while Serdoa is throwing the classical kitchen sink at Noble & Co.
