Started moving the north scout, it has 0,8 hp which is at least decent, so it can still move. The othe one has 0,6 has discover a wolf that is helping fogbossting against warriors. Right now im unsure if it would be better to scout the west with that scout or it would be better to fog boost. But if i decide to fogboost, having a scout is worst than a warrior so i think ill explore the west.
Demos
At the capitol this last turn the worker is out so im growing the capitol towards 4 pop to make the settler, this second worker moved 1SE and mined for 1 turn, and then will camp the deer.
I decided to move SW the scout i have in the north to see the closers rings of the capitol.
On the capitol one worker is moving to the caws to mine them and then will farm the wheat of the second city. The other workes as i said before is going to camp and chop.
Im healing this turn the scout of the south and will wait till it gets 0,8 and then i will move it
Demos are similar, 3 people are already on 4 pop, and im sticked still to 2 pop.
Finally copper revealed and the scout gave so much information. Now is time to sim. In a first look im thinking on settling on the plainshill instead of the deset tile. It will have more food since in that spot ill be able to lighthouse that clams so it will be 6f tile. Also the stone city makes more sense since the corn will be basically for that city.
First warrior out and will go to fogboost the second city, making wheel since i will need to road a lot to conect third city wherever it goes.
Talking about the second scout, i was thinking to go to the little peninsula of the silvers, but there is a beautiful wolf there that is fogboosting for me, so no real need to kill that guy. Instead i ll search for people driving West oversteping that estuary we already saw.
Demos are similar, since i got to 3 pop are slightly better for me than other turns but there is people with tons of food and pop already.
I ve been half hour siming the cities and the path and all that and for me it clearly is better the whiping strategy and the settling spot i thought already. Maybe im biased for the several hours ive spend siming the marble spot as third city instead of this new copper site. I makes sense for me to go 4th city the coper one since it gets a brand new WB when settling, since second city build it for it, also makes sense since i would have road till there on time too. And overall it makes everything smother.
Siming a bit more about the plan of oracling CoL, i think it becomes too late, over 70s if i dont want to fall on expansion, same with mids, not sure when it should be a good date for it. Hopefully there is no IND on this game, but i would try to get it asap.
Also thinking that a Specialist economy would make sense in this game with this little grass tiles, also that would mean a bit less of worker labour which might makes sense with the lack of expansion traits.
Im amazed, this time is the first one i log just 1 time without any times out. And it happened on this house. Crazy.

So this has been a really nice turn, and not just because i loged at first instance, its beacause ive met my first Neighbour, and guess what, its Jessi, a non IMP guys. i love it!!!!
He seems to be in the north so ill try to scout him a bit to see how far are we. Right now i love him because he is giving me KTB for the 2 tech im getting next Wheel and Fishing. not sure how to see if he already knows anybody, i guess ill see it by the count of EPs if its not 4, but he can change it, so im not sure if there is anybody close to him.
Demos, i was so excited (and a bit too tired for the trip, and this dinner i did with some friends) that i didnt analized it at all. I ll do so tomorrow morning.
It seems now it works again. i really cant understand this issue. Maybe tarkeel is right and the router is pretty crappy and works when it wants.
In any case, plan is going well, i ve found a Lion with 0,6 Hp which means the neighbour of the east had some hard times with it, and i guess we didnt met for that reason.
demos are other thing right now with 4 pop, sadly we are a bit behind on prod and gnp, but since ill whip the food advantage i want to believe that is going to be fine.
Interesting turns, we are really close to Jesse and on 31 discovered also to Rekenner (im so sad for this). Rekenner has already 2 citiee so im a bit behind like jessy is. I hope we can expand fast enough to make our border with him nice. If he lost his scout i have some hope to be able to settle some spots he didnt discovered yet.
Btw i killed that injured lion.
Rekenner has AH, so thats nice for KTB. I have to sim some more, im unsure wheter to research AH to get a pre for writting and pasture the sheep of third city. jesse got Archery this fast, i really cant understand this call. He is going to be behind in tech unless he has just agriculture resources which seems unlikely.
Finally demos, ive 2 whiped this turn so they are back to bad.
Rekenner is putting his EP into us, and so im doing. he is the favourite for this game looking at the spam he is having and also 2 dedlurkers, and 2 really good ones i would say. Jesse is not imp and has researched Archery which is not optimal so im less scared of him right now.
Looking at the map i am almost sure im unable to get the clams, its in the best scenario contested but settling his second city towards that spot it might be easier for him to settle there. I think i will settle stone as 5 city and maybe try to get the wheat of the north in a 6th, but probably rekenner is up to that faster.
I expected the map a bit less cramped like PB60 and thats why i valued IMP as less important but looking now at the map it was clearly better Justinian. Unlucky. now i might need to think what to do now, should i just refuse to compete for those places and try to get some wonders to get tech advantage or should i refuse any wonder and try to fully chop to death settlers. Maybe something in between? So hard to evaluate all this without dedlurker. Im regreting that decision too, this might be my last solo game xD
The plan continuous to be the same, its the best combination ive found. Probably there is better options but i didnt find them. Second city will be really strong for me, i have 2 forest prechoped for the granary and with 2 food resources it will be my main whiping pump, maybe even better than capitol. Right now im trying to think the capitol chop where should go, there is some options, settlers, granary, workers, wonders.
I would like oracle and mids, right now, if i could make the wheat of north with all those forest maybe mids there makes sense, but being in the most contested part of the empire sounds crazy. The only other city with tons of forest is the capitol, so leaving those chops for it, might make sense. Not sure, since if i want to setlte the north one i would probably need to chop several of the capitol's forest.
Also Germany has 6 pop already but no second city, he didnt whip it, so he sims to go really slow.
Demos, really crap situation since whiped the capitol, i sim to be the only one that did so, i might mess up with it.

Lithium:
Its the first Alkali metal of the Periodic Table of Elements. This group of elements are in the first group of the Table (remember that the colums of the table are called groups). All this Alkali metals are really reactive since they have one electron that they want to give away. This property is called Ionization Energy. Having that low IE makes Lithium a huge reducing agent. Although all this Alkali metals have low IE, Lithium is the one that reacts less, since the last electron is still really close to the nucleus and its really atracted by it, so you need much more energy than getting that electron from Potassium or any other Alkali.
Being the smallest atom of Alkali is really usefull for us. Since the ratio IE weight is the best, so all the batteries are using this fact, the best batteries are made of Lithium since it makes a lot fo energy with the smallest weight possible. For making batteries you need an reducing Agent and an Oxidizing Agent, in this case Lithium is the reducing one.
Also, even though its not as reactive as the rest, you still need to keep it outside of air, using some oils or vaccum or any Noble Gas atmosphere.
Discovery: It was discovered on the XIX century and one of the probes used for it is burn it giving a RED flame. The main producers of Lithium are South American countries like Argentina.
Aplications of Lithium: They are a lot, its used on Pharmacy to treat some psychiatric illnesses, its also used on metallurgy as a reducing agent, on optics since several of his salts are completely transparent crystals. But the main use as i said before is Batteries, there is tons made every year of them and they are the best for electric cars since they are the less weighted, but not only cars, we dont want 3kg phones on our pokets, so they are used on everything portable.

Beryllium
This element is not really abundant, but it has been used compounds with it from the old Egypt. This group of crystals are called Beryls, which the most commonly known one are the emeralds. Also it was famous that several of this salts with Be are sweet. ALthough they are toxic too.
It was first isolated on the XX century but it was known from XVIII century making some reactions out of it. Indeed the discovery is from Vauquelin that was able to isolate the BeO out of emeralds and other salts of Be.
Aplications, there is not as many as other elements, its a nice quality metal for some purposes, for instance the aerospace industry, also making some better alloys for example with Aluminium, also used as dopant of semiconductors. Its really expensive to make, several times more than titanium which make its use only for some specific and needed aplications, for example it was used on breaks of military planes, but it has been lately changed for other better and cheaper materials for it.
