I mean to be fair, look at the picture below. Ginger was running a farmer's gambit lol, even if he does have limited expansion room. Again, just for Ginger's benefit post game, this all makes sense from Gav's perspective, once you've gotten over the sunk cost of he built the units in the first place.

Between this, Nauf's expansion path, Nauf's barb issues, and SD moving his capital, Commodore is catching a lot of breaks, which is good because he needs them lol.

I don't remember this being done before really. I think Amica explored entire stack once and that was reloaded, but other than that I don't remember many other war time circumstances.
The most famous example I can think of is Sulla's write up where Rome miss clicked and landed without declaring war. No reload.

Not that his opinion matters more than the lurkarti, but Nauf also agrees with me. I know I requested a war reload during PB59 and no one gave me the time of day lol. Mind I then figured out a way around and retracted, but still I think war reloads should be very rare.

I tend to favor the reload side here. Missclicks are a bit out of place in a TBS. Moreover, it can really sour the experience if months of gameplay is heavily impacted by slipping with the mouse.
