Pretty sure you'll still get the religion founded message, the only change should be the function that reports the score. Charriu even fixed it so that the score is calculated (just hover on the scoreboard).
I've previously suggested moving slavery to priesthood, but that was too far from home for this mod.

I like that; force people to go down the priest line after religions have gone. It's a closer move than Lumbermills...

Re: pause for Ginger,
Also an early game missed turn can make a big difference and he's a neighbour...

Yeah, that was part of the reasoning: It adds extra value to mysticism civs. I also think it's defensible from a historic perspective; I think the othering of (well) others through religion is more important in having systemic slavery than large-scale metalworking was. Heck, from that perspective it wouldn't be unreasonable to place slavery at Calendar, as working slaves to death wasn't really a thing before the Barbados sugar farms AFAIK.

Thoughts:
* I think my initial guess about the map is wrong, and now I'm wondering if we're on some sort of ring around a large desert area. The Scout that comes from Haddock shortly will test this by following the coast South.
* Land between greenline & I is very brown so I don't expect greenline to be rushing to grab it. There's a half-decent city around the Cows/Wheat but it's on "his side". I'll grab for it later if it's still availble, but v. low priority.
* Past the Dye valley, there doesn't seem to be much food between me & Ginger either. The prize in the area is the Silver, so I need to know how Ginger might approach it - Elwood is heading back there now and then will skirt along Ginger's border to the coast.
* Settling the Silver means grabbing the Pigs city, which in turn means linking through Stone or Elwood's Horse. Stone is a crappy city until borders have popped so doesn't support the snowball. Elwood's Horse has only 3 workable tiles, but with a wet Corn and Horses can push Settlers & Workers until IW releases the rest.
* West is also kinda mixed; beyond the Stone, I think 9tiles is the best spot to grab the Wheat & FP, Cow is a bit filler, but supports the Silks city. I may skip over Stone to settle these 2 and then once borders pop the Stone city will have access to some decent tiles to start.
* Jake in the SW is going to scout around greenline for a bit to make sure he has better land elsewhere to keep his attention, and then will head off to find his other neighbour.
* Hmmm, maybe a need a 4th Scout to venture into the Desert past 9tiles?
* Cod finishes the Chariot then starts the Settler for Elwood's Horse. Not sure what Haddock builds next; maybe another Worker at size2?
* I have 1 Worker farming the Banana, they will start Roading north. Second Worker is moving to Mine the bare hill SW of Cod.
* BW due soon, so will adapt plan accordingly at that time - nothing is currently fixed except maybe Elwood's Horse; I don't think I need to prioritise settling Copper.
* Will save Gold for a couple of turns then make decision between Fishing-Pottery or Poly(Masonry-Mono).

An interesting turn:
We met Ljubljana's Scout North of greenline - the two have yet to meet though, so greenline has met a 5th person on this continent. They have not founded their second city yet, which made me wonder if they had completed Stonehenge, but Wonders says owner unknown.
I did pick up 2x KTB on BW this turn; now due in 4t.
Oh, and more decent territory for greenline to contest(?) away from me...

Well hello there!
Ljubljana in the North too!
And Jake finds genuine Coast beyond greenline:
This may change my impression of how much space greenline has to expand into and the likely speed he settles in my direction, so Jake will do a bit more snooping here. I also want to find out if that is an island - I suspect not, as there are no equivalent islands near my start.

I got to roll my first turn today!

Mixed news from the North:
The Wheat makes it a viable plant next to the Silver for Ginger ... OTOH I could cheekily do the same.
News from abroad, was that Ljubljana founded his second city.

Turn roll and my 3rd contact completed BW - just in time for me to complete it next turn.
The Southwest is interesting:
I'd love to know more about this area now, but Jake's going to keep going because Mighty Mack just left Haddock on his journey through the South to greenline's borders. Chariot finished in Cod as well and started North to cover the Worker roading to Elwood's Horse. Haddock started a Worker - due in 6t - and Cod a Settler - currently due in 9t. Will go down a turn next turn when the Mine completes, and that Worker will most likely put a chop into it to bring it down further.
Of course Copper will likely change everything next turn!
