Seems all is well with the gold after the check-up.

Damn, forgot to request the gold, and Darreljs/Krill didn't offer it. Oh well, next time.
Monarchy is in. Revolt to HR next turn. Wines hooked up in 2. Looking forward to finally getting rid of those unhappy faces all over the place...

Monarchy in, turn of anarchy while we revolt. Nothing much else going on. Forgot again about the 30 gold, darn it.

Hey LP, thanks very much. It seems that you're doing a great job whilst i've been gone.
I'm back now until Wednesday and then off to Rome. Are you still ok to continue playing until next Sunday? I can, of course, take over again in the mean time but it might be easier if you continue and use me as a soundboard to prevent multiple handovers?
Once again, a huge thank you for your help. If you ever head to UK, or i head to New Zealand, i'll buy you a beer or six

Nah, it's fine - you enjoy your holiday and I'll keep playing the turns. If you want to pop in and comment on what's going on, that'd be cool, but don't feel you have to.

So with Monarchy in, things are looking a bit healthier these days. We even have a 30 point lead now! (Entirely pop-based and temporary, but still not bad.)
Also, check it out - no unhappiness!
I've tentatively put our research on COL, because I believe it would be better for us than Feudalism. However, I've kept the rate at 0% so we can potentially switch to Feudalism at any point if you'd prefer. (We're generating beakers because I've got a load of scientists hired while we wait for some tile improvements.)
Our Great Scientist is in, and will head to the capital next turn. Over the past few turns I've built us an extra 4-5 Workers, so we're doing much better on the improvement front as well.

We founded the 4th new city since I started playing this turn (the 3rd was founded a couple of turns back). Lots of big whips across the empire to get Forges online ASAP. Our Great Scientist can enter the capital next turn and build an Academy - great timing actually, since we were gathering gold the past few turns anyway.

Picked up COL with only a bit of gold a turn or two ago. Back to saving gold now. We should be able to 2-turn Feudalism whenever we want.
Presume this is the last turn I'll be playing, so I've left a couple of notes on signs as to what I was doing. Though I can play another turn or two if you happen to be delayed.
Darrell and Krill requested a Horse for Iron trade. I wasn't sure so didn't accept - if it's okay with you, by all means we can re-offer it.

You back yet, Kyan? Rego's away at the moment so we're on a bit of a hiatus anyway. Would be good to have some confirmation if you're around so I know when to stop the email forwarding.

All sorted and back. Just awaiting a turn.
Thanks so much LP. Very much appreciated. Should you ever need the favour returned, just ask.
