Dungeon Defenders - Good game for the money and devs are soon releasing everything needed for completely modding the game. It's not a terribly deep game but fun all the same. A couple of the classes, especially certain builds, can be a challenge to solo with.

Skyrim - Lost a lot of hours already here. Very very well done game with tons of content. UI for PC definitely needs work though and will probably only be addressed via mods. Mods are starting to come out already and the tools aren't even released yet. As with previous Elder Scrolls games the mods scene should be amazing and add tons to the game.

Civ4: PBEM25g, Peter of Rome. Doing decently for my first MP game smile

Oldie
Starcraft 1: Only playing Impossible maps, either solo or MP. Trying to complete Impossible Grandma SP without reloading banghead

Time waster
Slay: Simple and quite old strategy game with a board game feel to it. Lots of fun MP (and games are quick, turns commonly take less than a minute), but very hard to find players for it.

Terraria again since 1.1 was released, making slow progress though.

Was playing Skyrim, waiting for 1.3 since my character pretty much gets murdered by magic.

Magicka. A friend gifted this to me on Steam and it has been tremendous fun. Solo and co-op are both a blast.

Also just picked up Dungeon Defenders with the sale, intend to try it sometime soon.

Tasunke mentioned Stratego...haven't played that in decades. lol Brings back memories of games with my brothers, long ago. I ought to look for Stratego resources online, see what I can find. And see if I remember anything at all about how to play. lol

Lately i've picked up a few 'new' games to play

Sengoku Rance : an ... shall we call it ... interesting game, althrough the H in it is a bit excessive, but its still a interesting stategy/tactics game nonetheless

Think we need to share some Steam IDs. smile

World of Tanks - Vehicle-based MMOFPS, free-to-play.
Skyrim - 'Nuff said.
Dungeon Defenders - Awesome multiplayer (and singleplayer) action/RPG & tower defense hybrid. Character development may be shallow, but the tower defense elements (and Challange modes) increase depth and replayability nicely.
Terraria - Because it's fun.
Diablo III Beta - Because I can.

I roll in WoT (and now DD) with some of the Basin crew, and others who aren't officially Basin members (picked up in WoT; we have a great group of people). Loads of voice, and voice comms are always filled with much camaraderie and hilarity. smile I'm usually logged into Steam when I'm gaming, so feel free to drop me a Friend request if you want to pair up on anything.

Been replaying Mass Effect 1 & 2 lately, in advance of ME3's release (praying that it isn't an EA Origin exclusive).

Finished off Human Revolution recently. Played Portal 2 for a while before sadly getting bored with the single player. Far too many of the puzzles were devoted just to introducing yet more new devices and pieces and game mechanics, making much of the experience play like some malignant hyper-extended tutorial.

Also finally started playing a little Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 after buying the games on sale over a year ago- I'd be interested if someone wants to get a 4-player RB campaign going smile

So I started playing "Fate of the World." A turn based strategy game of saving the world from Global Warming. It would make a GREAT Demo Game if anyone is interested. It is also REALLY hard unless you know what you are doing. I know how to get to 2100 pretty reliably.

Its a pretty hippie game but its pretty amusing. Its one of the few games in recent memory that I felt really good about beating (only lost turtles on the way) :O
